Excited beyond words for this upcoming biopic of Kafka. Also, who else than Agnieszka Holland could make it?

Samantha Rose Hill shared this wonderful text on X today. Hannah Arendt's syllabus for "Thinking", taught in 1974. It should be a staple reading list for anyone opting for higher academic research. What are the other texts you would recommend?

Just finished Netflix's Decameron and couldn’t help imagining how brilliantly Kanan Gill could portray Oscar Wilde.

Congratulations to Samantha Harvey for her Booker win!! The reading trend towards shorter fiction is also a call of the time.

Great news. To mark 50 years of that famous Cahiers du Cinéma editorial, this conference was arranged. Today Vinzenz Hediger had posted on FB that a new anthology is on its way from Amsterdam University Press.

Payal Kapadia is on the cover of Sight and Sound magazine for its December issue! After a realllyyy long time an Indian filmmaker has achieved this feat. This should give a huge confidence boost to all Indian indie filmmakers! Such a wonderful time for Indian cinema!

Hi, Bluesky Community! I've just joined. As a token of love, here is a wonderful film, you can watch from India. Definitely one of the best independent films that came out of the country in recent years. www.fairyfolkthefilm.com
