"When I was drawing the spines, I was thinking of what I could remember of Super Sonic's spines in Sonic 3&K, though I think they kinda feel small? Maybe because the top body feels quite buff like on the sprites of Super Sonic in Sonic 2 (unintentional but it works~).
The boots are quite the creative freedom. I got red shoes that have the soles in the same color and shade, so this is a result of mixing that with the most recent shoe shape I remember the Blue Blur carrying, being Sonic CD's."

A doodle of Mega Man Model ZX, but his biggest change is that they have pants and different boots.

While the changes on the top are non-existent (discounting the gems being the same green as the eyes and the saber looking a tad off due to using a frame of the animated announcement trailer of the first ZX game as a reference), the bottom does make some changes compared to the concept art: moving the pockets of the pants where the thighs are to compensate for the boots being in their original location, and the boots having a bit of armor extending up to the knees on the outer sides. gems with a crotch protection got altered so the pants don't get segmented and simply gain a much more standard looking belt with one gem, although whether this ruins ZX's visual identity or not is up to you.

A neat thing on this art direction is Omega Zero You usually see blues and purples on colors in place of black on Z3 and ZX yet here comes this Messiah Wannabe having his black as a GREEN-ish grey as his saber is already purple-ish with the fuchsia Working perfectly to counter Zero's color palette

And when it's not white being replaced with a light color, it's black being replaced with a dark enough color to see the lineart a tad better The Mega Man Zero series tends to use blue-ish grey, Zero 3 & ZX series tend to go for purple-ish grey (of which can be seen in some earlier Zero art)

- Because of how Inruo imagines more than does, he TECHNICALLY doesn't have that many OCs

Of course the problem of this comes from me trying to see things as just writing, and even then, I haven't wrote in cursive consistently a bit over a decade now, but I'm gonna force my brain to see it that way Not exactly Word World but you could argue is an advanced puzzle compared to just shapes

By the by, the maroon jacket and pants aren't an one piece suit, the detail just wasn't drawn for the sake of efficiency, as this transformation was the last of the four "only lineart" drawings I did for the 1,000 post, taking all of the Christmas day/25th to be made.
