like 22 countries r considered to be arab (west asia and north africa). theres no one way to have an arab oc, but ive seen a ton of "arab inspired" ocs all look the same. theyre all bedlah babes and its disappointing

no seriously, the amount of ~sexy belly dancers~ ive seen is insane. its not that hard to actually represent arab culture without leaning into harmful stereotypes/depictions. and so many tend to have their oc be ~arab~ inspired, but arabs have such diverse cultires/traditions.

hes an astraiic, which are kind of like living star people... and also lobsters :3 so he has an exoskeleton. i used "gills" for a lack of better words. astraiics eat space dust, so thats how they eat

i will say, its kind of annoying when someone gets it completely wrong and the drawing has very minimal/no shading with a white/no background. color theory doesnt apply at that point, bc theres basically nothing thatd change the skin color that drastically. thats just poor eyeballing/color picking
