So I recognized the Yoshinoya in the intro to On Cinema On Location. It's on the corner of Santa Monica & Vine St. It's now a Jack In The Box... (Sign shape didn't change!) However, it was NOT featured in the 1977 film "Oh, God!" starring John Denver. 😭 youtu.be/Iiaibd8PFTM

Discogs sale; End On End, obscure punk album I found. Meant to upload this like a week ago. Forgot. Oops.

020

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

A discogs sale... It was for The Field's From Here We Go Sublime, but there's really nothing for me to draw from that album cover, so I drew one of the albums it samples instead. Here's also two others from a couple weeks ago I forgot to upload. Loop and The Jam.

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

I... found this for $2... Oh god 😵‍💫

I have a new job I'm transferring to next week. My old job was cutting my hours the past few weeks due to lack of business, & it's been eating my finances. I still have $700 worth of bills I need to pay. I'm in the endgame now. ANYTHING helps. Thank you. paypal.me/prismadollar

This was on the side of the bike trail while I was commuting to work. Free CDs. Crazy. Can't wait to dig through these when I get home.

Stocking PFP for my friend @bvc540.bsky.social that she asked to be stylized "Like a Prismadoll album cover". She was ecstatic. I'm happy with the end result.

Commissions always open. Donations always appreciated. My abusive father is still not cooperating with the divorce, and since he moved out of California, it's been hard to get him to comply with the courts. Help is needed and always loved. Thank you 😞 www.paypal.com/paypalme/pri...

Had a dream about a bobsled coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood called "Hannah Stylee", named after a non-existent "based on a true story" Universal film (of the same name) about an Olympic snowboarder. I recreated the ride in RCT Classic. Dream description in the comments.

Got approved by my doctor to return to work today. Went to work today (called them and they gave me a shift). I had ANOTHER seizure towards the last half hour of my shift... That's weird... and concerning. I'm looking into this. I think it's environmental.

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

My hearing is finally back to normal. I'm starting to feel better. Still wobbly in my step and walking with a cane, but this is the best I've felt in over a week. On my way. Hopefully soon I can go back to work. :)

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

My pitch perception is off again... I'm tired, boss... 😞

000

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

Update; Been prescribed prednisone. Still congested, but my pitch perception seems to be back to normal. I'm STRUGGLING to stand up straight (I need a cane to walk), my eyes struggle to stay open & my brain fog is immense. This is WITH steroids. Seeing a neurologist in 2 weeks.

030

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

Update; EVERYTHING I'm hearing now sounds like it's pitched slightly lower than usual. Even MY OWN music just sounds WRONG when I hear it. I had to increase the pitch on Legionnaires just for it to sound right. I'm hoping to GOD that this is just a drug side effect. I'm in HELL.

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Went to my doctor today. She found it very strange how this occurred; she's concerned and is referring me to a neurologist. They also injected something into each of my asscheeks. I'm E X H A U S T E D , but at least light isn't as painful now. Hopefully I feel better soon.

I had a small seizure & slumped to the floor at work yesterday. May have had my first ever migraine; got a lot of the symptoms for that. I'm struggling to look at my phone right now; which sucks. I don't feel productive being screenless. Wanted to update yall. 🫠

I am very happy. I finally own a copy of John Oswald's Plunderphonic. Very rare, and very significant to the art of sampling. I will be keeping this until the day I die. 👻

Two more discogs sales. Hooligans (The Who) and Reclamando Territorio (DJ Adam & DJ Guichy). Latter was found in the 7,500 CD lot.

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 04/11/2024

Well, this marks the first Sunday in years where I no longer have a local swap meet. I'm sad to see it go, but it was on private land; the owners have decided to sell. I hope the city can find a new home for the swap meet to occur. I will continue to attend town halls for it.

040

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

Made a couple discogs sales. All Eyez On Me (2Pac) and Wildflower (The Cult). Got a couple more to sketch, pack and ship. That 7,500 CD lot is paying off.

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

Went through box #3 of that CD lot I acquired and AWWWW YEAHHHHH 😂😂

Prismadoll @prismadoll.bsky.social · 28/10/2024

"See You Next Week!" Sadly, this is the last week my local swap meet will be in operation. I'll miss it greatly. I at least had a good final run. Each CD was $1 - $2 each. I'll still be attending town halls. We need a new swap meet location.

I know a guy and ended up with 7,500 CDs. My discogs is about to have a big inventory buff; it's just gonna take me a while to sort through and list all of this. Hope to make a nice profit overtime! 👍
