Remember, #YWCAseattle is who initially signed itself up as a panelist for an event to teach “concrete ways to intervene, mitigate, and restore a survivor’s reputation…”. Yet when I called them to do just that, they were angrily dismissive of any responsibility on their part.

I still wanted to discuss accountability with #YWCAseattle since they did not actually attend the event, so rather than emailing administrators again, I made a call to a program coordinator who deals directly with domestic violence. This is how that played out.

First attempt at my own tamales this year. I grew up making them in large batches with my cousins, aunts, and uncles while my grandma supervised the thickness of masa spread on the corn husks.
