Let's save the nation from ecological collapse by sacrificing "carbon capitalism," as author Robert Moor advises. Replace fossil fuels of coal and oil with wind and sun. Also, save the forests for climate-health.

And anyone else who cares about looking good.” Right panel says, “You heard us. We need to talk about feathers,” and explains that birds are alive when their feathers are plucked and that feathers are not simply found or fallen.Two-panel Friends of Animals graphic explaining the harm caused by feather use in fashion. Text says birds are harmed and killed when feathers are used as decoration, compares the issue to the fashion industry’s move away from fur, and states, “Feathers need to be next.” The second panel urges designers, stylists and models to use alternatives such as sequins and embroidery and says birds cannot speak for themselves.Two-panel Friends of Animals graphic closing the open letter. The left panel says, “But we do. And we will,” calls on the fashion world to speak up, and urges people to have the courage to do what is right.
