beastieball is a creature-collecting sports rpg that's basically precision engineered to get you to fall in love with scrungly little creatures. here's a screenshot I took where my dragonfly made of gemstones and my tentacle-flower-thing fell in love. hope this helps

well, second edition starfinder is fully compatible with second edition pathfinder, so there's nothing stopping you from making a tiefling using those rules! there are also super friendly six-armed fluffy gobliny guys called skittermanders. here's one of them from the 2e playtest
