I just finished this 8x6 inch oil #painting of a beautiful landscape 🌴 with a sunset vibe to it. And just in time for National Cheeseburger Day. I love cheeseburgers! I want to eat a lot of cheeseburgers today! 🍔🍔🍔 #art #traditionalart #oilpainting

A pretty tropical 🌴 landscape #painting that I painted with real oil paint from real tubes. 8 x 6 inches. And it's real! I haven't painted anything for a while, so this is my first comeback painting. ❤️ Thanks for looking at it! 😊 #art #traditionalart #oilpainting

Florida landscape painting with water and trees and Spanish moss and pretty pink and red flowers.

Did I ever write about Love Through a Prism? Omg! It was the greatest anime I ever watched! 😍 And I also even learned about the history of England and Japan in the beginning of the 20th century that I had no idea about! High school history class didn't teach me anything 😥

Still of a scene from the anime Love Through a Prism.

Probably, nobody on BlueSky cares about the other social media, but the good news is that my account over there is no longer shadowbanned! Yay!! 🎉 Ask me any questions you want about how X and Bluesky are different (from the perspective of a hobbyist artist). I'll try to answer.

HomeGoods is like an art gallery for the masses! I went there to find out what kind of art regular "value-conscious" middle-class people want to hang on their walls. But rich and elite people probably wouldn't buy this. Unless they were decorating an Airbnb rental.

It looks like the People like my ACEO-sized paintings a lot better, because I got a lot fewer likes on the 6x6" painting. Not that I think my paintings are so great that I'm entitled to any likes at all, but if the ACEO-sized paintings do a lot better on social media, maybe I should lean into that?

My 6x6" oil painting on Fredrix canvas sheet. I've graduated from ACEO-sized paintings to normal-sized tiny paintings! Yay! 🎉 I think my foreground grasses are a little weak; I need to work on that more. 🤔 #art #traditionalart #painting #oilpainting

I filled up the whole sheet of canvas paper with #ACEO sized oil paintings! After 8 paintings using Gamblin Solvent-Free Gel, I realized that stuff is TOO THICK for tiny paintings, and I switched to a medium of 80% linseed oil and 20% Turpenoid. #art #traditionalart #painting #oilpainting

I gave up on X (aka Twitter) because my account is shadowbanned, even though all I did was post some pictures of my art and write some tweets about video games, anime, chess and fitness. Meanwhile, people like "catturd" are allowed to have millions of followers on there. x.com/princessluna...

My #ACEO sized oil painting no. 8 I used Indanthrone Blue for this painting, but I think I'm going to go back to using good old phthalo blue for the next. I'm used to phthalo, it's hard to learn how to swap in a new color. 😕 💚💙🩵 (phthalo hearts!) #art #traditionalart #painting #oilpainting

I saw in the news that they are no longer making pennies, but I think nickels also aren't worth very much with all the inflation we've had in the past 100 years, so maybe they should also stop making more nickels? Maybe we don't even need dimes? Can you buy anything with a dime? I don't think so.

A November mountain ⛰️ landscape oil painting. I painted this on a 6x6" Ampersand Gessobord. It was fun to try it out, but it's pretty expensive and harder to paint on than canvas, so I don't think I'm going to go all-in on the Gessobord. #art #traditionalart #painting #oilpainting

Is it "ocher" or "ochre"? Firefox's built-in spellcheck confused me and made me change "ochre" to "ocher." But in the art-world, it's always spelled "ochre," even in the United States. So big thumbs down to Firefox's spellcheck! 👎👎👎

6x6" painting, real oil paint on real canvas, not digital! 💛💛💛 I tried to amp up the prettiness of the fall colors. And still trying to paint more spontaneous, but mixing so many pretty colors took a long time so it wasn't as spontaneous as I had hoped. #art #traditionalart #painting #oilpainting
