Next post I scrolled after this one was an unrelated comic page that said: "That shade was about to get you. Let me escort you to a safe house." And I don't think I'll ever recover.

I was just talking to someone about how the Disney Parks keep replacing themed areas with IP-related areas... and like, yeah it's neat to have something in a movie come to life, but a whole themed area to loose yourself in is always going to be more creative, new, and unexpected.

Honestly though, I don't think any single retailer even had preorders open for longer than half and hour... A lot of restocks are gone in less than a second. But eventually there will be some sort of drop that's longer and they'll likely continue to add more.

I had to use a tracker to wait for it to go in stock. Still, never seen anything sell as fast as this did. I've seen some folks limit sales to subscribers, so that reasonably only people that have been following awhile can even add to cart. Not sure it that's ideal.

You really are caught in the two cakes situation. I still think about the werewolves and the way you drew the curse. I always wondered how it was supposed to resolve... but also... knights. 👉👈

I also think this post is also more about writing trends in animation, rather than novels. They can share genre overlap, but the production of them and medium does have some pretty different goals/trends/restrictions in writing.

According to Diana Wynne Jones, a lot of women who wrote fantasy works had to publish as YA. Publishers didn't consider her works as marketable adult fiction. Diana didn't see herself as a young adult writer, so I'm assuming Ursula ran into similar road blocks.

It is so vexing. I tend to just buy from artists I already follow, or get reblogged by others. It's far too hard to figure out if the shops are using it or not otherwise. Also... it's also just hard to find reproductions of vintage prints and artwork too. Too many replaced with "custom" slop. :/

An artfight for FarewellFox, who does not seem to have a blusky account. This is their discraced lich royalty Asim.

A bust portraid of a spooky mage with a skeletal cat face. They are wearing an extravagant beaded headdress that gives them coins for eyes. Green ghostly fire emanates around them.

Art Fight against @coyoteprince.bsky.social I wanted to draw something spooky... I mean... it's just a normal photograph of a man holding a dog... wait!?!

Moody illustration of a short large man holding a thin black hound. The hound has a human head. Both of them have a hint of eerily flame like eyes.

An illustration of a vampire's monster form. It is a bird-like monster with a bird skull face and blue/black feathers. He has four arms, wings, and large talons, with a mane of feathers down his neck. She is against a red background.

I keep trying to find a sweet spot for this alchemist character transforming into a dragon. Perhaps at some point I'll give them a name too. :V

A person transforming into a dragon. They wear a skirt of intricate patterns and are reclining away from the viewer.

I really like 3D, but it seems like you want that figure to focus on the viewer while still looking off screen. I think 4B fits that more, but looses a bit of the scale and strong horizontal line with the weapon. So 3D, but tilt the figure's head at an angle to appear to look down at the viewer?

I just got around to putting loops on the werewolf tapestries and hanging them on wood dowels. They looks so incredible. My heart breaks from you, but I understand why it has to happy. The insane shipping prices and cost made it impossible for my to buy the statues you were making.

Did you give them fertilizer? I had potted tomatoes that stalled out like this. Would even bloom, but no fruit. Only produced fruit after they got plant food. Lots of light is good for beans to grow big too though.

I keep trying to figure out when this happened, but I used to eat all kinds of plums from the store as a kid, and now it's a once in a lifetime miracle to find one that's not hard and under ripe. Like.. did we lose some kind of knowledge in fruit deliver in the base two decades?

Only original works are limited. Number of Art prints available are just a reflection of how many boxes, paper, and time I have to spare. 💖. Feel free to reach out if a print you want it not available. I'll fix it.
