They always wait until the evening and/or weekend, yeah 😔 My dad's dog got deathly ill while I was watching her in August and of course it was in the evening right before an event I'd been looking forward to for 2 years 😭 She got better after a week and surgery. Hope your babies feel better ❤️

Ahh, people from Europe not realizing the whole continental US is essentially the size *of* Europe always makes me laugh. However, most Americans can't name jack-diddly about any other country, so it always evens out LMAO

Ah, fair, good point! What I get for trying to write posts 5 minutes after I wake up! Thankfully fees aren't that bad overall, it's more of a death by a thousand cuts kind of issue.

Aurae 🌵 @pricklypearcat.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

If they do continue to ignore it though, at least the card issuers will deal with it on their own by eventually increasing the fees the company would have to pay and increasing decline rates for cards used with them, eventually affecting their bottom-line...

Some VERY important info for fursuit makers/anyone who uses K&J Magnetics! Hopefully awareness will push them to investigate what's happening if they haven't already noticed getting reports from customers and/or chargeback fees...

RPers in WoW are under no illusions that we are being catered to on a regular basis. We've always known that RP features get drip fed, if we get anything at all. None of this really has much to do with concerns of which will be "real WoW", though, which was the whole point of the original post.

Uhh, you do realize they've been providing more and more pro-RPer features as well as casual content like housing? Plus, unlike many PvE and PvP players who may unsubscribe between major patches, RPers are a consistent revenue stream cause we make our own content..? If it was sarcasm, /s is helpful

I personally have to make a new character to RP in Forever in though, cause the character I want to play most is too young (15) in Vanilla to be able to RP even an AU version 😔 Just stinks to have to pick and choose when you're passionate about one character at the moment, esp if friends are in WoWF

Aurae 🌵 @pricklypearcat.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Yeah, same. I do like it going back to a smaller-stakes sort of vibe especially since that's easier to write RP campaigns in, but I do worry it means we won't get that in Retail (like you touched on) which is a huge bummer, if so. Slowing things down will make it feel more realistic, at least.

Aurae 🌵 @pricklypearcat.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

(And while I touched on a fracturing playerbase, this doesn't even touch on the pain of wanting to RP as one character but being unable, or unwilling, to port them backwards into Forever. I think this idea of "the Other WoW" might hit RPers hardest, tbh. We get so invested in our characters... 😕)

Aurae 🌵 @pricklypearcat.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

... but I also doubt the gameplay loop of Forever will keep my PvE friends (or those of us who do RP *and* content) engaged much. They're keyrunners and raiders. WoWF has raids, but we all know Vanilla style raids and class gameplay is really different from Retail. Wish I had a crystal ball.

Aurae 🌵 @pricklypearcat.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

This has been a major fear of mine as well, especially in talking to guildies and folks here on Bsky. Really been wondering how this will all shake out, especially in the RP community. There's a lot of RPers very disillusioned with the story and how your character is perceived in Retail, ...

I, essentially, like to include scars as memories of when my characters almost died since healing magic is stupid prevalent in WoW, especially when doing organized mission stuff 🙂‍↕️ Realistically, he would probably have more from his time serving in the military, but since I didn't RP that, eh.
