Averaged over last 5 years we have data for, UK population rose by one million every 2.1 years. Building that quantity of housing and supporting infrastructure continually means wiping out wildlife & green spaces and increasing GH gas emissions

Yes if private jets used less fossil fuel e.g. became smaller or more efficient. A passenger jet, even with only 80% seats occupied, can equate to a small petrol fuelled car 🚗 (e.g. VW Polo) with one person aboard in terms of greenhouse gas emissions per person per km.
