Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run episode 1 MY GOATS AAAAA IM EXCITED TO SEE THEM ADAPTED this was such a good setup of an ep and I’m glad it’s a 47min long one. Can’t…say though about my excitement for the rest of the series. Netflix clearly doesn’t care about its audience.

sense in later scenes. It would’ve benefitted from a 2 cour or even 2 season structure if they wanted to faithfully adapt it and not make it a glorified ad to promote the light novels. Otherwise though it was stupid fun regardless and I enjoyed that. A very lovable mc to watch.

Hereditary Literally my first time ever watching this movie and I bawled my eyes out than was actually scared of it. One scene between the mother and son just kinda broke me & reminded me of me and my mom. It’s less about horror and more about the existential dread of family broken by grief.

The Secret World of Arrietty Such a charming movie, which is unsurprising given Studio Ghibli films. But definitely one of the few not talked about enough esp for its sound design between the barrowers’ trips in the human home. Hate the caretaker, like lady you can act so normal and not like that?

The Emperor and the Endless Palace I had no idea where these was going but definitely didn’t expect the twist in perspective. I love it ends on an ambiguous ending and yet didn’t feel hopeful of where the lives of the mcs will go. Very few stories are bold to not end happily like this one.
