Long story short, he said near the end of 2023 he wrote his 2024 goals out after reflecting on his year. He then took a screenshot of that list and made it his screensaver so he was forced to look at it ALL THE TIME. I believe in “copying the right cat”, so here’s my version for 2025. ✨🥳

Once I started paying $80 for full sets, I knew my time going to nailshops was over. Especially considering I get my nails super short and natural. No designs, maybe a french tip every now and then.

And if you feel like you don’t have the wardrobe to dress up 1 day a week, it’s time to go thrifting. Im about 20/25lbs heavier than I use to be before kids.. mind you I’m only 5’2” so it’s already hard to find clothes that fit right. But I went to my local thrift store and racked up!! Just do it!

I challenge all of the moms out there to start picking at least 1 day of the week where you actually get dressed. No leggings. No tshirts. No hoodies. Some nice jeans/bottoms/skirt. A cute top. Something you feel amazing in. Accessorize. Add a little makeup, even if it’s just brows and gloss. ✨

It’s so funny to me when people don’t believe I had a baby less than 6 months ago. Is it because we’re conditioned for new moms to be looking worn out, tired, badly dressed and overall irritable? Yeah… I think so. I’m changing the narrative.

So when I had my second child, I told myself to be more proactive. I signed up for a therapist 2 days after giving birth. I’ve been seeing her consistently 2-4 times a month. It’s done wonders for my mental.

I’ve gone from a single woman to a wife and mother of 2 in just 3 years. I’ve changed so much and with each change, I’ve had to learn to navigate the nuances of life. I suffered from ppd with my first child… and I didn’t even know where to look for help. I was drowning in sorrow.

Honestly, I’ll never understand why therapy isn’t standard for new moms. Everytime you have a child, there should be at least a year of sessions lined up for you. Sigh.
