I'm a boomer - didn't vote for Trump while my young (20's-30's) daughters- and sons-in-law did! I've also gone the big protests (Hands Off, No Kings) and frequent smaller local protests and most of the folks out there are older folks! I've been dismayed that more younger folks haven't been involved.

Definitely wear one if you need it! I didn't use one for a long time and really hurt the health of my teeth. I wear one religiously now. Might seem uncomfortable but you get used to it quickly.

Check out Garmin Venu SQ 2. I bought one a year ago to replace a fitbit that died, it's been very good. I've seen them going on Amazon for $149 recently.
