So, what does your recent games list say about you? I’ll go first!

Okay.. I have another thing I want to talk about. Do y’all like to read graphic novels? Show me a panel from your favorite books! I’ll go first.

This was such a good post! Star Wars and the Matrix were definitely two movies that had a huge impact on me. And Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece. I’m a sucker for a Tarantino film. The only one I would change is Planet of the Apes. I like it… but honestly I like this one waaay more.

Name a game that you think is is overlooked and has more for it than most people assume.

Very true. Is there more than just this image? A trailer? I’m going to do some digging. Thanks for posting about this, and for engaging with me, and for not blocking me 🙏🏻 Off I go. Time to activate my search ninjutsu. *Searcharingan*

Wow. I have 300 followers on here? I’m fairly confident that at least half of you are real people too. Wanted to say thanks to those who talk back to me from time to time. Feels kinda nice 🫶🏻 Confession time! I have never played #StardewValley even though I own it on 3 different platforms.

What are some of your most memorable shows you used to watch as a kid? These are a few of mine, but my god are there so many more. Biggest influence here was definitely Pokémon. But these are all things I still enjoy! Especially Batman Beyond. I don’t know what it is about that story, but I ❤️ it.

Now that my 30 days of gaming is done… I don’t know what to talk about. I’m going through Monster Hunter World Iceborne right now. Having so much fun with it. I never actually started Iceborne when it originally came out. Crazy how much they added. Love the more challenging content too.

Day 30 The Best Game I’ve Ever Played The Last of Us. It took a lot to not use this game till now. But man the last of us hit me in feels so many times. It is a masterpiece that should be enjoyed by everyone mature enough to handle it. Anyways that’s my Video Game Challenge. That’s done.

Another day, another @wario64.bsky.social poser. This is not the real Wario. Though it is the most convincing so far. I wish I knew why every person that imitates him ends up following me 🧐 Maybe I should change my handle to something Mario related… 🤔

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

Day 28 because I’m late again 🫣 A game that deserves a remake/remaster: Ahem… Legend of Dragoon hands down

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

Day 27: Best Retro Game Chrono Trigger Was there ever a doubt?

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Day 26 cause I missed a few days 👀 Best Indie Game: I.. have a confession to make. I’m genuinely not sure what qualifies as an indie game anymore. Ori and the Blind Forest was phenomenal. Smaller studio. Child of Light will never leave me. Hollow Night? Vampire Survivors should definitely qualify.

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Day 25: Dream Setup.. Looks something like this. But add my switch and PS5 somewhere in there.

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Another wannabe. Heads-up. This is obviously not @wario64.bsky.social Is @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app @moderation.bsky.app going to do something about the influx of spam and pretenders?

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

Day 25: Current Setup.. I have an Xbox Series X and a switch dock in my living room. I have a PlayStation 5 and a second switch dock in my living room. My “not a game boy” Miyoo Mini Plus running Onion OS goes everywhere with me. And sometimes I play KOTOR and Jade Republic on my MacBook.

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

Day 23 Best Villian This is actually surprisingly easy. “Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?”

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

Day 22 Best Boss Battle Can’t reuse a game so I can’t choose the Valkyrie Queen from GoW. Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts. Hits like a truck. Fast. Brutal. Complete departure from the rest of the entire game. But it teaches you to observe and learn your enemy. Souls like in a non souls game.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Day 21: Best Cut Scenes I feel like day 8 already covered this but… God of War (2018) and GoW: Ragnarok. Because I genuinely had a hard time figuring out what was cutscene and what was game. But man, scenes like Kratos vs Thor stick with you for a long long time.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Day 20 is supposed to be my best digital screenshot or capture. I don’t actually ever take screenshots? So, um, skip!

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

Day 19: My Next Purchase Honestly I’m thinking about the PS5 Pro. I know that’s divisive. But I don’t have a gaming computer. I like graphical fidelity. It seems like a decent upgrade.

030

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 10/11/2024

Day 18. What game have I played more than 5 times. Skyrim. Unashamedly Skyrim. To this day it’s still one of my comfort food games.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

Day 17: Best Gaming Memory This is difficult. Not solely because I’ve been gaming for so long but because I have a few memories that just stand out to me. As a kid I would say finding and catching Mewtwo. What a rush. First of my friends to do it. And with a Pokeball! My master ball had been used

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

Day 16: Best Co-op game: I mean it’s hard not to say It Takes Two isn’t it? That game challenges the very idea that two people can’t overcome their differences and reconnect/re-fall in love with someone they’ve fallen out of love with. Which is so real. It also tackles the issue of what that

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 06/11/2024

Day 15: Best remake/remaster Seeing as I can't cheat and use the same game twice (looking at you FF7:Remake and Rebirth, I will go ahead and say that the Last of Us is going to be it.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 06/11/2024

I skipped a day by mistake (yesterday was not a great day) and I'll make up for it by doing day 14 and day 15. Day 14: A game I am excited for that comes out next year. Monster Hunter Wilds. Thats really it.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 04/11/2024

Day 13: A Game I Got Day One I’ve gotten many games on day one. Like tons. But the one that holds the most memories for me because of how much fun I had with it and how awesome the community was is Destiny. Which is ironic because now that I have kids I play pretty much single player only.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 03/11/2024

Day 12: Best Voice Acting Easily, for me, Mass Effect. Fem Shep for the win. I tried a male Shepard once and only got about 45 minutes in and just couldn’t do it. FemShep WAS Shepard.

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

Day 11.. Best Story I’m digging deep on this one. Tales of Symphonia.

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 01/11/2024

Intrigued because look at this cover! It looks awesome. I was hopefully it would have a good setting or story or the least be fun to play. It was none of those things. I got about an hour in and just quit.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 01/11/2024

Day 10: Worst Gameplay Hmm.. this one is bit challenging because I am not one to sit and suffer through a game with bad controls. I will just put it down and play something else. That said, the most recent game with terrible controls I can remember was.. The Technomancer. I remember being a bit

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

Day 9: Best Gameplay I think this might be controversial a little bit.. Anthem. Another game I enjoyed because of how nice I felt it played was Metro:Exodus. And I guess Destiny (the original) and also Bullet Storm. Shoot just thought of another. The Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raiders.

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 30/10/2024

Day 8: Favorite Cut Scene. Y’all are gonna hate me for this but there are two. Crisis Core. Sephiroth, Angeal and Genesis atop Junon Cannon. youtu.be/FlZlfXNosG4?... Any Star Wars Old Republic Saber Duel. youtu.be/dOoNm4jFtTA?... Choosing from decades worth of games is impossible.

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

Day 7: Saddest Scene This is also very tough.. I’m going to say my choice for this is Ori and the Blind Forest. When Ori’s… you know what? I’m not going to spoil it. If you know, you know. Runner ups would be Aerith’s thing in both FFVII and Rebirth. Tess’ sacrifice in LoU1. Dom’s thing in GoW.

200

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 28/10/2024

Day 6: Best Soundtrack. Oof. This is hard. This is too hard. My personal recommendation: Halo. Other favorites? Bastion. Skyrim. Ocarina of Time. FFVII (the original and the remake). Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow. I still whistle the bike theme from time to time and it’s been decades.

240

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

Day 5: Favorite Gaming Couple Cloud and Tifa. I screamed when they kissed in Rebirth. I cheered. I cried. I was overflowing with joy. He isn’t perfect. Neither is she. But god damn it they support each other through physical hardship, mental illness, and so other sort of troubles.

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

Day Four: Most Annoying NPC Short answer - Chadley Long answer - how Chadley was handled. I like his character actually. I like his alter ego AI female twin thing. I enjoyed his protorelic quests. I hated being constantly interrupted by beep boop boop. I hated the laziness of dumping ALL of the

010

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 25/10/2024

Day 3: Favorite NPC. Oh this one is so hard!!! I’m going to apply NPC to strictly any character you will never ever control or command. And I’m going to give this one to….! Face McShooty! He lurks in the Thousand Cuts area of BL2. Gives you a quest called: “Shoot this guy in the face.”

000

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 24/10/2024

Day 2: An underrated game…. Perfect Dark on N64. Everybody talks about Golden Eye, but dammit Perfect Dark took that formula and, well, PERFECTED it. OG content. Smooth gunplay. Awesome story. Great multiplayer. Bots to fight in multiplayer. Secondary functions on every weapon. And counter-co-op.

I keep seeing these. I’m a father of two and work 50-70 hours a week so my game time is VERY limited. So, instead of here’s my games I played this year, here are the games I started this year, that didn’t come in 2024, which I hope to finish sometime in the next 2 years 🙏🏻

030

prayersfromasinner.bsky.social @prayersfromasinner.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

I saw this and think it’s fun! So here we go! Day 1: Very First Video Game I believe it was Spy VS Spy on Gameboy. I was gifted one by my grandpa when I was 5. It had Paperboy, Mario, Tetris and Spy VS Spy. I didn’t know what Mario was yet, didn’t know what Tetris was. But Spys? That was it.

What I drive. A Hyundai Ioniq 6. My take: a great car. Do I wish it was as software advanced as a Tesla? Sometimes. But I’m happy with the build quality. I wish they had made it a hatch. And I wish I had bought it in red. The Hyundai Bluelink app needs work too. (Part 1)
