Btw, this happens because the back door is open, but blocked with a baby/dog gate. Ruthie is a stubby, short girl and not a jumper, so she stays in. Ron (ward cat) is all leg and sails over it easily.

Took a little battery maintenance moto ride up to a branch library to drop off some books. Nice to do before it gets hot. I took a different route and the roads were unexpectedly bumpy; I got a good thigh work out, for bonus points.

This gives the impression that the battery-maintaining motorcycle ride was due do the back door being open.

Visited the dog park this morning, as I try to do every Saturday and Sunday. The 14Y old pup insisted on leaving after only two laps instead of our usual three. The husky belongs to our friend who joins us on our park outings.
