i screen shared my second 100% playthrough of silksong to some friends and made it a habit of interpreting every piece of text i read which made the game significantly more fun and i highly recommend it for anyone replaying

i feel like it’s sorta missing the point of her quest to say that she’s missed potential. her story is beautiful and parallels grand mother silk in a really nice subtle way. she’s not a bad character because people expected her to be something else :[

it’s something i love about hollow knight and silksong’s storytelling. depending on how much you care to look, you’ll glean an entirely different story than a casual player. i adore the heartache that permeates throughout both kingdoms. there’s comfort in the familiar hopelessness of it

i believe the “hollowness” of ghost is directly parallel to the player’s feelings towards the game and world. if you don’t take the time to immerse yourself in hallownest and its history while you play, of COURSE you’ll conclude they’re hollow, you didn’t care enough to try and disprove it

uwewe,,,, hornet dont you know that there’s still work after you move on,,, the text makes me think of sherma since he sorta parallels her role in hollow knight. neither of them knew there was another way until they were forced to see it. i would love to see how sherma would challenge lace’s views

mfs are too busy participating in lacenet discourse (STUPID!!) to realize that lace is some of the best representation for suicidal ideation in games also she is transmasc to me
