Received a thoughtful, nicely worded outreach from a recruiter. Could be AI but it was so well written that I almost wrote back to thank them for making a genuine effort.

@chickfila.bsky.social institute a timeout at the drive thru lane. If you take more than a minute to order, refuse to serve. This will solve ur traffic issues + increase sales by a lot.

The datacenter ppl could have poured money into solar, wind and batteries; subsidized residential power to build goodwill etc. but they decided not to just because. The biggest fumble ever.

how the fuck did @vox.com fumble their early lead in video explainers? Seems like they don’t put much of that content anymore, while others like @bloomberg.com have stepped up

One of the biggest scams in America is that the only way to improve your sleep is by getting a new mattress… no bob, get a sleep study, you probably have sleep apnea.

Love the physical @wired.com copies that I get; first the reporting on tech in china, now the one on AI. There’s something about the experience of holding and reading a physical magazine that just isn’t replicated by digital media. Love it. Thanks for keeping this alive team wired!

steam deck is a genuinely great device for indie games and older games or platformers. The only issue is its terrible battery life. Even so, glad that I got one before the price hike 😬. Doesn’t really seem worth at that price unless they upgrade the hardware.

Having used both claude code and cursor, I don’t see how Cursor can possibly survive. CC is such a great product and does everything I wanted from cursor. I started off with cursor and moved to CC and have never looked back.
