wolves/rabbit

limited palette (magenta-red, purple, cream white and dark purple) illustration of 2 wolves tearing apart an abstract rabbit. The wolves are flipped mirrored images of one another while the rabbits body is a rougher mirror of shapes on both sides with abstracted sinew and bones being pulled apart. the wolves have blood around their mouths

Ohhh the mood in this is so nice. I love fall pieces that just let the foliage act as the dominant color around the character always so nice

some warmup animal studies in my sketchbook

A collection of sketches / studies of mountain goats. They are done in black felt tip with a bright green acting as a shadow. The sketches range between studies of their faces from different angles to full bodies transversing the page. Text in the right hand corner reads "MOUNTAIN GOATS"

A collection of studies of snowy owls . They are drawn with black felt tip, and the shadows are in a mix of saturated blues, and a very light blues. There are 3 drawings of owls in flight from various angles, and owls on the ground (presumably in snow) along with studies of owls faces

Me too I am sentimental often abt how many amazing folks ive gotten to meet and be pals with just bc we were all mutually into drawing in a way that felt seperate from commercialism.. ..bygone era.....

Monster clay sculpts u use as positives to make molds of and then pour resin into the molds !! It's rlly useful bc its reusable sculpting material :^) also learning blender --> 3d printing out libraries I am aware of have 3d printers) but involves learning programs
