supplemental B: why the Wardance interlude? Dan Heng really did use the jade abacus to summon the Xianzhou fleet. We already know Dan Heng dreams of the Shackling Prison, so it makes sense we'd go there. C: a dream also explains why we can understand the Amphoreus language!

Firefly and Castorice: Both maidens bound inextricably with death, bug-themed, with a ferocious other half. Phainon seems 'similar' to Caelus, and both of them have lost their memories...

look at Amphoreus: the cataclysm seems similar to one both Acheron and Welt have faced before, and has facetwins of people both of them know running around. Welt even brought Kevin up earlier in Penacony.

Early on in Amphoreus, you are offered the chance to leave. If you do... the credits roll. Why would be seeing these credits - unless we are still in the grip of the 'director' who has been with us all thru Penacony? Mr. Reca is our boy.

1. 1st off, Mr. Reca: In Penacony we started to get these 'credit' endings. We have got these thruout Penacony + Wardance. Credits imply a movie - a director. We conventiently met a director a couple patches ago, one who seems to be able to control reality in the Dreamscape.

You can see in Ratio the pattern of scorning his own intelligence while sarcastically scoffing at others. this is Socrates on the way to the trial where he sentenced to death and Ratio talking to Asta.

our intro to Ratio involves him acting and manipulating people. we also see him 'teach' Asta. Besides some sarcastic comments about the genius society, he is eventempered, firm, but helpful, and his exit explicitly links him with Socrates philosophical method of questioning

This is Ratio's influence. The GADFLY of Athens who shows people they are ignorant. Now, Socrates was famously a very affable guy, but Ratio (and Aventurine) both act as caricatures of their worst traits as a form of intentional social manipulation.

Plato writes about Socrates' trial in the dialog 'Apology", which is a beautiful dialog and not irrelevent to our current times. The judges who want to execute Socrates ask Socrates to defend himself and Soc says the following. I included a long passage because this dialog fucking rips.

the laurels in his hair are also associated with Delphi (tho there are other associations). His move Intellectual Midwifery also references Socrates; that's how Soc describes his philosophical method in the Theaetetus. Soc insists he is not wise - much like Ratio insists he is mundane

+ Socrates was known for revealing the ignorance of others thru questions. wiki: "... his awareness of his ignorance made him wiser than those who, though ignorant, still claimed knowledge." In other words, Socrates went around showing people they didn't know what they said they knew." More info:

Ratio positions himself as an altruist driven to share knowledge. His attachment to books is known. He's known for several publications. And... his collar charm looks like an upside-down candle flame. Could the IPC have ownership over the Union's remains? Could Ratio have a connection to Finality?

020 2

could a colony of the Philosopher's Union have survived? does this fuel the theory that Ratio is quite old? who knows. now, for speculation regarding Ratio's guild affiliation. Here's a description of the Candelagraphos from Herta's Manuscript's readable.

we learn in the memory bubble Fall of Logic + curio Rationality's Fall the original Philosopher's Union fell to the Anti-Organic equation. Note Rationalty's Fall Curio very Ratio-coded. bubble: honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Memory_Bubble:_Fall_of_Logic. Note the Finality connection in the dialog
