If you're denying a strong intellectual lineage between two different papers from the same team both working on learning from human feedback IDK how to communicate here.

It's worth pointing out that the Transformers paper wasn't what started the revolution, it was the scaling laws paper ... Led by Dario. arxiv.org/abs/2001.08361 (I recall as I was helping ship one of the first applications of BeRT in Google Search back then.)

Another OCPF filing, and the same pattern: More than 95% of the money raised by the Yes on 3 campaign in the first half of September came from just six corporate executives in private equity, venture capital, and investment banking. Don't let them buy our elections.

Moulton falsely accused Markey of being associated with Epstein, in the debates. Seems easy to see Moulton can't be trusted, if he takes that kind of approach to campaigning.

I love me some transit, but that graphic implies cars are 2.9x as wide as a bus (7 cars for 175m vs 4 buses for 35m). Which raises the standard of evidence I need from the author.

Profoundly monstrous. When I sat with my sister in law as she took medically assistance in dying, she had less than two weeks left and they would have been largely unconscious. She got to leave on her own terms and say good bye. Nothing better to offer than cheap moralizing for dishonest reasons.

I keep hearing excuses that only "single issue" voters care about what Moulton said about transgender people, but my problem with Seth isn't just a "single issue." It's his willingness to regurgitate MAGA talking points as soon as it became politically expedient for him. Thread of some thoughts.

My read is that Charlie Sullivan is competent enough to know that the city will get sued if the CHC is too flagrant in circumventing the law, which could lead to the council making changes to protect the city from liability. But the anti housing folks are getting traction with innocent bystanders.

Forcing solar above parking increases the cost of above ground parking, which increases the incentive to use it for other things, tho 😆. Given how hard it is to push on this issue, seems like a policy which could get enacted and change the economics of the situation.
