Secret Level is a great show, but the last episode is a shitty playstation advertisement. Nothing interesting. Just a stereotypical "video game episode" no interesting story. The Outer Worlds and Spelunky episodes made me want to play those games. I want to play PlayStation even less now.

It has to keep the same vibe though, the same acceptance.

Multi monster consistently makes me drop my headset out of fear, i always get freaked out. I still remember my first time I died by it, I just stared at my screen for like 4 minutes headset off confused and traumatized.

Don't get me wrong, some games are masterpieces like Red Dead Redemption 2, and I'm not saying games can't be pretty, but if you atleast have a live service game where people are going to be regularly playing for years to come, LET THEM COMFORTABLY PLAY.

If you're forcing your players to set their graphics settings to "low" then you're doing something wrong. Most people have basic specs. 8gb ram ect. This is the norm despite what other people try to make it seem. Good parts cost hundreds of not thousands of dollars.

Hot take because I’m so frustrated rn but Half Life 2 is the peak of video game graphics. Even today despite being a ten or so year old game, it still looks great. Like I fucking hate modern games because I don’t need to see the damned pores on my PC’s skin and every hair follicle rendered in.

Additionally, it gatekeeps the game from lower spec devices. If your customers can't even play your game, what's the point?

It's really cool how because so many neurodivergent people are bullied as kids, they usually escape to the internet. That's why communities like Roblox and stuff are so full of ND people, bc its an escape. Additionally, ND people express themselves in such special ways. +
