They're untrained thugs. Citizenship doesn't matter to them. from the Guardian reporting on the MN invasion of Jan '26 www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
Brandon Sigüenza saw his first federal immigration agent just one minute before he was arrested by one.

He and his friend, Patty O’Keefe, were following ICE officers in their vehicle after receiving an alert that agents were nearby. Soon after arriving to observe the scene, an agent approached their car and sprayed chemicals into the front vents, then began shouting.

An agent yelled at Sigüenza that he was under arrest, so he said he put his hands in the air and waited for instructions. The agent didn’t say to leave the car. Instead, they smashed the two front windows, pulled Sigüenza out of an unlocked door and slammed him against the car.

“I told him, ‘Sir, my passport is in my pocket.’ He said, ‘Shut the fuck up,’” Sigüenza, a US citizen, told the Guardian.

Did he think we'd forget how he shit-talked Obama about playing golf?

Donald Trump mocked Barack Obama for playing golf in dozens of tweets and campaign speeches between 2011 and 2016. The most notable quotes include:
    • 2011 tweet: "@BarackObama played golf yesterday. Now he heads to a 10 day vacation in Martha's Vineyard. Nice work ethic."
    • 2013 tweet: "PresObama is not busy talking to Congress about Syria... he is playing golf... go figure."
    • 2014 tweet: "Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf. Worse than Carter."
    • 2014 tweet: "President Obama has a major meeting on the NYC Ebola outbreak, with people flying in from all over the country, but decided to play golf!"
    • 2015 rally: "Obama, it was reported today, played 250 rounds of golf." / "He played more golf last year than Tiger Woods."
    • 2015 tweet: "He may play more golf than any human being in America, and I'm not sure that's good for the President."
    • 2016 rally: "Everything's executive order because he doesn't have enough time because he's playing so much golf. He doesn't have enough time to convince Congress to do it. This guy plays more golf than people on the PGA Tour."
    • 2016 speech: "I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go play golf."
    • 2017 (on air): "Like Obama, he plays golf in Hawaii. He flies in a 747."
After taking office, Trump reversed course and defended his own golfing as "exercise," claiming "Obama played more and much longer rounds, no problem" — a claim fact-checkers found false.

Obama averaged about 41 rounds/year — roughly once a week — over his two terms.
Trump's first term ran at roughly 65–71 rounds/year, nearly double Obama's pace.
Trump's second term has been even higher: 93 outings in 2025 alone, with 36 more already logged in 2026 through August — putting him on pace for ~100+ this year.

"Only twice." and zero times when the president was an asshole with a low 30s% approval rating. In fact, I felt the need to look it up and am happy to report that -
The last time this happened before was Harry S. Truman in 1946, who entered the midterms at roughly 33% approval (some sources cite 27%). Democrats lost a record 54 House seats and 12 Senate seats that year.

Cancellation of Approved Clean Energy Grants
Separate from the buyout deals, the White House Office of Management and Budget terminated $7.6 billion in federal grants for 223 clean energy projects in October 2025.

In July 2026, the administration acknowledged in court documents that these cancellations were made "based solely on the political identity of the grant recipient's state." The terminated projects were located in 16 states that voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, including California, New York, and Illinois.

How come the media never brings up the fact that Trump in 2018 bragged his ass off about replacing NAFTA with the USMCA, the best trade deal that the world has ever known (according to him), but now thinks Canada & Mexico are abusing the hell out of us.
"For the first time in American history, we have replaced a disastrous trade deal that rewarded outsourcing with a truly fair and reciprocal trade deal that will keep jobs, wealth, and growth right here in America."

Cassidy’s Deciding Vote and “It Could Be Worse” Rationale
On Friday, August 7, 2026, Bill Cassidy (R-LA) announced on the Senate floor that he would cast the deciding vote to confirm Todd Blanche as Attorney General. Cassidy explicitly framed his choice not as an endorsement of Blanche’s perfection, but as a pragmatic decision to avoid a potentially worse alternative.

Cassidy stated: “The choice is not between perfection and Mr. Blanche. It is between Mr. Blanche and another acting attorney general who may not run the department effectively under President Trump and who indeed may not be as good as Mr. Blanche.” He added that rejecting Blanche could risk progress on fighting violent crime, drug trafficking, and fraud

"The Republican governors did a much better job than the Dumocrats."
Key Statistical Findings
The disparity in mortality rates is quantified across several major analyses:

County-Level Data: Counties where 70% or more of residents voted Republican had a death rate of 299.4 per 100,000, compared to 207.4 per 100,000 in counties where the majority voted Democratic. This represents a substantial gap even after controlling for age, race, chronic disease, and healthcare access.
State-Level Aggregates: Broader analyses suggest cumulative death rates in "red" states were approximately 38% higher than in "blue" states after vaccines became available.
Excess Mortality: One preprint analysis estimated roughly 222,000 "excess" deaths in Republican-leaning states through February 2022 compared to Democratic-leaning states.

Here's what AI search bot is telling me, Pretty much aligns with what you're saying.
Senator Jon Ossoff has received $0 in direct donations from the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) PAC in his current 2026 election cycle, and the organization is actively funding attack ads against him.

Historically, Ossoff’s financial relationship with the pro-Israel lobby has been minimal and often mischaracterized:

Direct AIPAC PAC Donations: Ossoff has never received direct contributions from the AIPAC PAC. In the 2020 cycle, he received approximately $15,750 from various "pro-Israel" groups, but this did not include direct AIPAC PAC funds. Some tracking sites aggregate funds from other pro-Israel PACs (like DMFI or J Street) under a broad "Israel Lobby" label, showing a total of roughly $820,000 historically, but explicitly distinguish this from direct AIPAC contributions, which remain $0.
Current Cycle (2026): Following his votes to block certain weapons sales to Israel in late 2024 and 2025, AIPAC has shifted from neutrality to active opposition. The group is not donating to Ossoff; instead, its affiliated super PAC, the United Democracy Project, is spending significant funds to support his Republican opponent, Mike Collins.
Endorsements: While the Democratic Majority for Israel (DMFI) endorsed Ossoff in 2020, neither DMFI nor AIPAC has backed him in the 2026 race

Hmmm, interesting. "Iran Military Conflict: 4 months, 18 DEAD."
In the first 4 months of the War in Afghanistan (October 7, 2001 – January 31, 2002), 14 U.S. military personnel were killed.

This total is derived from Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS) data:

October 2001: 3 deaths (all non-hostile).
November 2001: 4 deaths (all non-hostile).
December 2001: 4 deaths (3 hostile, 1 non-hostile).
January 2002: 3 deaths (1 hostile, 2 non-hostile).
The majority of these early casualties were due to accidents, including aircraft crashes and friendly fire incidents, rather than direct enemy combat, which intensified later in 2002 during operations like Anaconda.

However, the overall impact of tariffs depends critically on how much of this cost increase is passed along to domestic consumers and producers, a concept known as pass-through. Empirical research has found that the pass-through rate is generally high (often near 100 percent), meaning that the burden of tariffs typically falls on domestic consumers and firms rather than foreign exporters.

Bald faced lying bitch -
What Harvard Researchers Actually Found
Researchers from Harvard University and the University of Chicago, including Gita Gopinath and Brent Neiman, studied trade data and found that U.S. buyers—not foreign governments or suppliers—are picking up nearly all the cost of tariffs.

Their research demonstrated that:

94% of tariffs were passed along to U.S. buyers in 2025
Foreign exporters reduced prices by only about 6% of the tariff size
If a 10% tariff is imposed, U.S. importers pay 9.4% more for the product, inclusive of the tariff
Neiman stated: "In terms of who's paying for more of it, it's disproportionately, almost entirely so far, on the U.S. side"

The “Innovation Requires Profit” Myth, Demolished. The standard gospel of Big Pharma holds that life-saving drugs require billions in private investment, astronomical pricing, patent hoarding, and corporate incentive structures to exist. Cuba — a state with a GDP smaller than many U.S. states — developed CIMAvax under state direction, without venture capitalists or pharmaceutical sales reps. It proves that scientific innovation can be driven by societal utility rather than shareholder return.

Fact Check: True ! Is there a Nobel Prize for STUPIDITY?
President Donald Trump's motorcade drove directly over the newly coated sections of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
    • Timing of Application: Work on the "American Flag Blue" coating had begun just over a week prior, around April 24–27, 2026.  Photos from the site confirm that active painting and sealing were still ongoing as late as May 14 and May 26, meaning the surface Trump drove on was likely only partially coated and certainly not fully cured.
    • Condition of the Surface: Experts note that polyurea coatings typically require strict application windows (often less than 24 hours between layers) and significant cure time before bearing heavy loads. Driving heavy SUVs across the surface just days after application likely compromised the bond between the coating and the granite substrate, contributing to the delamination and peeling observed after the pool was refilled in June.
    • Immediate Aftermath: Trump exited his vehicle onto the wet or tacky surface to speak with reporters, praising the color and durability, unaware or unconcerned that the heavy traffic might be damaging the fresh industrial liner.

Overview of Florida's Free Kill Law

Florida's "Free Kill Law" is a controversial statute that significantly limits the ability of certain family members to seek compensation in medical malpractice cases. Specifically, it restricts adult children over the age of 25 and parents of deceased adults from filing wrongful death claims for emotional damages.
Key Provisions

    Affected Individuals:
Adult children over 25 cannot file claims for emotional suffering when a parent dies due to medical malpractice.
Parents are barred from seeking damages if their adult child (25 years or older) dies from medical negligence.

    Legal Context:
The law is part of Florida's Wrongful Death Act and was enacted to reduce medical malpractice insurance costs and retain healthcare providers in the state.

Implications of the Law
Criticism and Concerns

Lack of Justice: Families of victims argue that the law denies them justice and accountability for negligent medical practices.
Unique to Florida: Florida is the only state with such specific restrictions on who can file wrongful death claims in medical malpractice cases, creating a disparity compared to other wrongful death scenarios, such as those involving car accidents.

Support for the Law

Insurance Costs: Proponents argue that limiting claims helps keep medical malpractice insurance premiums lower, which is intended to stabilize the healthcare system.

So I was chatting w/ an AI bot about vaccine mis-info and I asked - "is there a political leaning involved [in the mis-info] or is it bipartisan"; It responded thusly (its BOLD, not mine) The graph from Johns Hopkins will attest to the lunacy that began in 2015 (gee, what else happened in 2015?)
The spread of measles and vaccine misinformation in the U.S. is predominantly associated with right-leaning political groups, though the anti-vaccine movement historically had roots on both sides of the political spectrum.

- Republican and conservative media audiences are significantly more likely to believe false claims, such as the debunked link between the MMR vaccine and autism. A 2025 KFF survey found 35% of Republicans believed this claim was definitely or probably true, compared to 10% of Democrats.
- Political figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Donald Trump, along with conservative media outlets and influencers, have amplified vaccine skepticism, often framing it as an issue of "medical freedom" and government overreach.
- While the anti-vaccine movement once had stronger support among left-leaning, "natural living" communities, it has shifted rightward since 2015, especially after conservative political networks adopted vaccine mandates as a libertarian cause.
- Outbreak data and vaccination rates reflect this divide: counties with higher support for Trump have lower vaccination rates and higher measles transmission.

Thus, while vaccine hesitancy exists across the political spectrum, current misinformation is heavily concentrated in right-leaning and conservative circles.A graph from JHU (https://publichealth.jhu.edu/ivac/resources/us-measles-tracker) showing annual measles cases by week from 2018 to the present with an explosion of cases in later years and 2026 shaping up to be the worst by far.
