PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Sadly can’t read the story without signing up. Unfortunate change in the MSNOW policies. 101
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 04/09/2026I don’t care about the order. I only care that the news is truthful, well researched, and verified through trusted sources. Sadly this is missing in most of the mainstream media these days. 001
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Not defending the congressman here but it amazes me that this administration will go after anything that demeans a potential political threat, but allows the Natalie Harp situation to continue without blinking an eye. Has anyone even vetted her for possible national security risks? 041
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Excellent article. The main stream media’s continued focus on the negotiations rather than the true cost of this war of choice is lulling people into complacency and believing the US will ‘win’. The independent media is doing the heavy lifting in seeking the truth. Help them get the message out. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Each person can judge whether trespassing to take kids to the beach was right or wrong. But despite all the press coverage on both sides then, the problem of private control of the shoreline persists today 110
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Ned Coll’s Revitalization Corps was Hartford’s version of the Bobby Kennedy Movement. At the time, they bussed mostly Black kids from Hartford’s North End to the shoreline to enjoy the beach. Racist horror of having these Black children on their private beach ensued. But the press told the story. 010
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 02/08/2026So tired of all the abusers in this administration. It’s a disgrace. Thank you for sticking up for all women who have been abused. We need more powerful voices. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 30/07/2026True but I think the larger value is the pushback by two Republicans in very public view over a couple of days in the news cycle. Hopefully these slight cracks will grow. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 11/06/2026Sometimes it is best to exit when you’re on top. It’s possible she’s convinced she can save the show. Sadly once viewers lose faith in the reporting in a news show, it’s almost impossible to salvage it. 050
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 01/05/2026I’m a strong MS NOW supporter but the blurb ‘who refuses to slow down’ rubbed me the wrong way. It seems like MS NOW was caving to sugarcoat the president’s health issues. The article is fine, but I’m hoping this isn’t an indication that MS NOW is succumbing to the pressure to bend the truth. 020
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 28/02/2026If it is illegal for the president to go to war without the approval of Congress, then isn’t this an illegal order that the military code requires the military to refuse to follow? 010
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 14/12/2025CBS News as my go to for news starting in the 1950s. Then Norah O’Donnell took over the evening news and I realized then that CBS had chosen to normalize the decisions to benefit the rich and powerful over ordinary citizens. I stopped watching. Sad to see Margaret Brennan change as well. 060
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 08/12/2025Excellent article! Her work is so insightful while at the same time explaining the facts in a way that non lawyers can understand. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 18/11/2025And it appears that no one pushed back. Tolerating this disrespectful behavior just encourages it to continue. 040
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 10/11/2025The Republicans will never negotiate healthcare in good faith. If you give ground on this critical issue, they will know you will cave on everything. Listen to the people who are being harmed, not the billionaires funding campaigns. Fight the good fight for the American people. 030
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 10/11/2025I thought you were one of the good guys that fought for your constituents. Yes this shutdown is painful and you want to keep your position, but caving on the ACA is a disgrace. You know the Republicans won’t consider the ACA extension in the future despite their promises. Fight the hard fight for us 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 10/11/2025I hope not. This is a short term fix that will cause massive future issues for healthcare and other issues, as well as the loss of democratic negotiating power. 3111
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 10/11/2025@blumenthal.senate.gov I’ve not seen your response on the Democratic proposal to cave to the Republicans on health care. You know their promise is meaningless. Throwing away healthcare for millions is not worth a short term fix on the shutdown-it just encourages more harmful republican power plays. 020
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 10/11/2025Please don’t cave to the Republicans on healthcare. Their promise is worthless, as you know. Yes you might mitigate the shutdown pain in the short term, but you will cause much more pain and loss of negotiating power in the long term. Sadly I’m sure you will ignore our pleas. What a disappointment. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 10/11/2025Please urge Democratic senators to vote no. I know the shutdown is painful, but trusting the Republicans on healthcare is a fools errand. We can’t cave now. 030
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 29/09/2025Excellent and thoughtful summary of where we are and how ordinary people can make a difference. We need more of this straight forward factual reporting that will help people better understand the issues and see where their actions can make a difference. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 15/09/2025This is a disgrace. We need strong clear voices like yours. 020
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 21/08/2025When are the Democrats going to learn that the old guard approaches don’t work anymore. They have just gotten us to where we are today. It’s time for new ideas and a backbone. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 19/08/2025Good, relevant interview. We need more people talking about this and hopefully getting through to our addled Congress. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 27/06/2025PS. I liked your segment tonight where you answered the questions put by the press to the press secretary. More of this please. 110
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 26/06/2025Excellent article. I look forward to reading the rest. There are too many people in our country suffering from inertia when it comes to our freedoms. I’m hoping your articles can get through to them. 050
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 26/06/2025The old guard approach isn’t working anymore. Continually trying to stuff the square peg into a round hole isn’t doing anything to stop the nonsense that’s devouring our democracy. Bring in the new guard, support them, and get out of the way. Thanks for the article. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 26/06/2025And the whole world is watching while they expose the weaknesses of this administration. 010
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 23/06/2025I’m so tired of people who have the power and authority to act, choose to bury their heads in the sand. There is no concern about protecting our citizens and military. Disgraceful. 010
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 08/06/2025I’m honestly concerned about all the military coming into DC for the parade. I’m hoping they are going back to Texas afterwards and not heading to Northeast cities for another purpose. 130
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 30/05/2025Hey god! Your point is well taken, but maybe, just maybe we shouldn’t blame the kid for parental shortcomings. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 29/05/2025Note John Rowland was the governor of CT over 20 years ago. 000
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 18/05/2025Looks to me like he wants a run at the presidency as the savior from the Trump damage. 010
PQWCPA @pqw16.bsky.social · 18/05/2025Absolutely agree! Also look at the timing of the release of the tapes and the selective use of them on the heels of the announcement of the reduction of the US credit rating - an absolute embarrassment for the country. We need to think before we react to anything this administration puts out. 060
