iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I've worn a silver watch with a black watch face and black leather strap for a while and really like that combination. I think it looks a little more "premium". On the other hand, a black watch body might mask the small black bezel the screen itself has a little better. grr.

I can't decide whether to choose a silver or black Pebble Round 2...

About as well executed as Microsoft when they said they paid attention to every detail in Windows 11.

Just put a bowl on the counter and it chimed like the Windows Vista warning sound. Bowl cannot be placed here.

A former colleague had "vibe-coded" an intranet form to generate some reports, which I had to continue development on after he left. The kicker: It's fundamentally unfit for the intended purpose because it meets neither legal requirements nor the original requirements when he got the task.

In German have the proverb "was sich neckt, das liebt sich", which roughly means those who tease each other love each other. On that basis, I think it's more than just "liking" me.

It feels kinda nice to not sit at my desk for a change, but just in the living room playing games or reading. Way to spend time on the 21st.

I think this is a font where you should commit to either ALL CAPS or lowercase.

Aforementioned blocky font used to write some German text which translates to "Aesthetically questionable."

Thin is a spectrum.

One must imagine thin strokes thin.

The text "dietary changes" still written in the font I'm currently working on. It's blocky and most glyphs are drawn with straight strokes. Vertical strokes are way thicker than horizontal strokes, which in this version are a lot thinner. To be more precise, horizontal strokes are a quarter the thickness of vertical strokes (25 units vs. 100 units).

Okay, hear me out.

Mina on my website getting pats during September. Above her head, the text "the 21st 17th night of September?" is displayed, with the 21st being crossed out. My taskbar is showing the current date being the 17th of September, 2026.
