What a great show. I remember an episode where Archie was in the hospital and needed blood, and learned the blood came from a black woman and damn - the look on his face. The audience laughed. I think about that a lot.

Remembering how experienced birders came down on a guy who got into birding because of house sparrows. Reminded me of how artists poo-poo'd artists who got into painting because of Bob Ross. Feeling like some are missing the point.

I almost went over that falls at the top! Was 17yo sitting w my boyfriend on the rock just to the left. Went to change my film and my camera started rolling over the edge. I reached after it and he pulled me back, prolly saving my life. Other than that, he was an asshole.

Atheist here. Also a supporter of freedom of religion. While I'm an atheist, I love what Jesus taught: heal the sick, feed the poor, welcome the stranger, don't be judgmental & love your neighbor. Talarico appears to be following the teachings & wants to keep church & state separate. Good!
