For the 3rd straight year, the US overdose death rate has fallen. “I’m cautiously optimistic that this represents really a fundamental change in the arc of the overdose crisis,” says Professor Brandon Marshall, a #BrownSPH epidemiologist whose research aims to reduce #overdose.

Doctoral candidate Leah Shaw and co-authors wrote a blog post a few weeks ago to accompany their study on Rhode Island's Harm Reduction vending machines. They found that these were used significantly on the weekends (30%) and outside regular business hours (50%). jphmpdirect.com/what-we-have...
