kamen rider drive is a really good show but making both the second and third guys ride motorcycles like normal and only having the main dude drive a car did accidentally highlight that kamen rider should never ever be separated from the concept of a motorbike

If you don’t know it, it’s a retelling of P5’s story starring a transgender joker, with the twist that he receives foreboding messages and memories from a version of himself who failed to save the world in what seems to be a previous timeline. Sadder, weirder, more raw and more queer than the game.

yeah it is very rewarding playing all these games in order because control really feels like the aesthetic culmination of modern remedy so far. pushing the harsh monochrome lighting effects from alan wake + doing more intentional fmv stuff from AN + refining the visual effects from quantum break
