Euronews decided Europe Day is the perfect time to do brand washing for the Venice Biennale, which insisted on bringing Russia back. Moscow wants to exhibit Crimean culture as its own. The Russian exhibitors have ties to military industry. And they’ve abducted thousands of Ukraine’s children.

If they’re not gonna move to Etterbeek, can we at least get them to move back their perimeter fence in the current place so that it doesn’t consume a road and half a pavement, leaving cyclists and pedestrians sharing a very narrow strip. No other embassy is allowed to do such a thing here.

Plugging the €30bn Ukraine funding gap expected to be worked through at the March European Council. No mention of the reparations loan, which was being re-floated just last week. But I imagine it would take some time to articulate a real proposal that Belgium could agree to on that!
