Note that during Otakon weekend, several Red Line stations on the west end are closed for construction. There are shuttle buses, but those can take a while, so plan ahead, make use of different stations to park at, and use the other end of the Red Line, or other lines in general!

During Otakon weekend, the Red Line, between North Bethesda and Friendship Height stations will be closed for construction. Shuttle buses will be provided, both local, stopping at each stop, and express, going straight between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights. The shuttle takes on average 30-40 minutes.
Parking will be free at the lots at North Bethesda and Grosvenor-Strathmore stations during the construction.
During the construction period, temporary free parking will be available near Friendship Heights station at the former Lord & Taylor parking lot, located at 5255 Western Avenue NW. Drivers should enter the lot via the Jenifer Street NW entrance.
Parking at a daily flat rate is available at most stations with a "P" labeled next to it on the map.
The rate is generally around $4.95-5.20, provided you use a SmarTrip card to ride the train and tap the gate on the way out.
The parking fee is in addition to the train fare. Parking at all stations is free on weekends.

They don't need to look like caricatures to be more relatable, most male characters in manga are androgynous bishie-types already. There's a part where the MC's older sister, who is trans, is clocked and thus ridiculed, despite not looking any different from any female character in the series.

In the penultimate vol we learn that Mogumo tried off themselves after their voice deepens. But the thing is, their voice was never depicted as a problem before, nor does it show how they try to cope with that dysphoria after. It feels like drama tacked on for the sake of it.

"Love Me For Who I Am" (FukaBoku) was fine, but I can't help but feel like manga with transgender characters try to do this "cheat code" where their cast are depicted as androgynously and prepubescently as possible, to make them look more palatable in contrast to most's lived experiences.

The ending to "I Wanna Be Your Girl" sucks ass. Why is it that in most romance manga involving transfem characters, they get sidelined at the end. Not many manga about trans characters get licensed in English and most of them have these asterisks...

In Virginia Beach, the trolley bus that goes down Atlantic Avenue has its own bus lanes, that are for the most part clear of cars and trucks. This is because, unlike in Montgomery County, MD, the drivers here are more relatively well behaved.

According to the blog, the Japanese tourist found this back in 2006 at several stalls in Bogyoke Market in Yangon, printed cheaply on A4 paper, and sold for 650 kyat (~65 yen at the time). It's marked as Volume 1 but more images of this translation remain to be seen.
