oooh... they reached out to me too. When I checked their profile there was a "project by" profile tagged, which led to even more "project by" tags of different profiles. Which to me meant I'd have to check all of these for credibility, which... nuh thnx.

Ngl I'm frustrated that I wasn't able to prep for this con as I had planned to (because ongoing life issues + stupid foot), but it is what it is. Managed to have new displays printed and 2 new art prints tho, so it's something 😌

Photo of a cardboard sign with 9 green squares on a white background. At the top the word "charms" is spelled in all capital letters in different colours.

Photo of stacks of prints, still wrapped with paper band. The stack at the bottom is a print of my interpretation of the Great Wave, but with cats. The stack at the top shows a living room scene with plants, but obscured by the paper band.

No time to prep a con catalgogue, but my table will look similiar to the one from MMC Berlin this year! Minus Tuffy and itty bitty charms, plus sticker books and a couple more prints. bsky.app/profile/poto...

Anyway, Polaris is next week and I'll take part in a fancard ralley! You can come to our tables and trade a Pokémon card from our wishlist, or buy each card for 4€!

Pokémon trading card of Maushold drawn by me. It has the typical layout of the Pokémon cards. At the top you find the name and HP, the middle part has its attacks and the bottom has info about the artist, weakness/strength, and a Pokédex entry.

The illustration is set in a forest. Parts of it are overgrown, items like a Pokédex and Pokéballs are scattered around. In the foreground are two little Maus, eating blue berries. At the center 2 pairs of Maushold carry 2 berries on a tree trunk. In the background is an abandoned train, overgrown and rusty, the windows almost fully gone. It has some graffiti on it. Two more pairs of Maushold form a chain to carry yellow berries through the open train windows. On the left a Magnemite is watching them.

Promo-image for a Pokémonfancard ralley that I will be part of next week. Itshows a line-up of 9 fan made cards by different artists: Oricorio, Psyduck, Mega Gallade, Maushold, Mega Gardevoir, Gourgeist, a tandem card of Peakychu & Mimikyu, Dreepy and Dusknoir.

Bumble shark plushies! She's so fuzzy 😭🐝

A photo of Humlehaj, the bumble shark, being held by two arms up in the air against a background of sunflowers and a traditional red Swedish house. Humlehaj is a hybrid between bumblebee and shark, and has therefore a fuzzy body and brown and yellow stripes, as well as small bumblebee wings. She looks like she is ready to buzz away and towards the sunflowers! If only those hands would let her go... Free her!!!

A photo of Humlehaj, the bumble shark, being hugged sweetly against a person wearing a striped t-shirt. There are some sunflowers in the background. Humlehaj has two hands cosily hugging her against the person's chest. She is such a cosy cuddle buddy!

Humlehaj has been caught again in this photo, and is being held against someone wearing a dark brown coat while she is pointed outwards, her fins sticking out a little.. Humlehaj does not seem to mind much, though, as she is smiling and as round as ever. One could even say she loves a good play session!

everyone wants to tell artists what to do and i wish we could shift to telling audiences what to do sometimes. if you liked webcomics that were on tapas, follow somewhere else. learn to use RSS. don't let the seamlessness of apps turn your brain into soup. you can change your habits

Probably sounds nostalgic. But I haven't bothered with them in years tho, the whole pushing out pages for visibility and potentially 0,1 cents in ad rev poisened my relationship with making comics ngl. In the end they are just another big corp making money off of artist's hard work and IP's imo.

Potoh @potoh.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Jeesh, Tapas shutting down takes me off guard ngl. I remember when they just started, and how friends and I were sitting in our uni classroom, figuring out the platform and webcomic thingie as a whole.

Black-and white drawing of my cat sona, standing on two crutches, stretching up one very muscular leg. The other leg is skinny, has a cast around the foot and is hanging down.

Some sort of critters living with @vasarru.bsky.social

Digital illustration of three cats. The background is grey-ish blue and has a yellow circle at the center that functions as the backdrop for the cats. On the left is a seal point sitting politely and looking up with big eyes. On the left is a black cat with long legs a tiny white bib. He's also looking up with big yellow eyes. At the top of the yellow circle, between the two cats heads is another cat, but drawn tiny and bean shaped. She's laying belly up and is light brown with darker speckles.

Pull your work off of Webtoon right now if you've put anything on there, allowing AI to be trained off their platform's work so "fans" can make AI "fancomics" is horrible, horrible. Pull it right now.
