I adopted my chocolate lab when (they said) she was about 5 or 6, but the vet agreed she was probably at least 7 or 8…she lived 9 more years with me and it was the best 9 years of my life…she passed a couple years ago and the last couple months were very difficult, but I still miss her every day…🥰
