Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free." - For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza. 23 and he knew to leave a death note.

PRESS
hossam_shbat 4h
This is Hossam's team, and we are sharing his final message :
"If you're reading this, it means I have been killed
-most likely targeted-by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old-a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents
-anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people's side.
By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest-something I haven't known in the past 18 months. I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.
I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza.
Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free."
- For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza.

If you have a voice, use it. especially those with 5k+ followers. Tumblr, twitter, instagram. this is about more than keeping families connected, people need to be aware of what's happening. if you are in the arts industry in the capacity of a public figure, it's time to speak up.

She’s all I’ve been able to think of these days

A drawing of Toorurii’s OC Bianca. She’s smiling calmly with an open shirt, showing off her torso and tattoos.

A snippet of Bianca from a past comic. She’s leaning down to talk into a mic off-screen, looking a little uncomfortable.

A sketch of Bianca. She’s still making that calm smile.

As cold approaches, a family in Gaza now has the means to keep their children warm. We provided financial aid so they could purchase clothing to protect them from the cold. A simple act, but one that brings comfort and relief in difficult times. This is the power of direct aid. 🍉

i made a stardew inspired wallpaper & icon bundle! 🥕🍅🌽

a phone screen layout showing a stardew valley inspired icon and wallpaper bundle, the homescreen wallpaper is a landscape of a farm house with a long spiralling plump of smoke coming from the chimney. the landscape is bordered by a colourful blocky outline of alternating colour squares, each square containing an element inspired by stardew valley, such as the fish, vegetables or special items found in the game. the lockscreen wallpaper is an eagle eye view of a farm with a patch of land, patch of tilled soil, and a lake at the bottom. the phone is arranged with icons and widgets to create the look of a farm. the widgets are the classic stardew valley overlay that usually displays the time in game, and also the stardew farm house. the icons are a variety of tools, fish, crops and special items. the text on the image reads 'stardew wallpaper and icon bundle, compatible with iphone, android, desktop & more!'

a display of the icons available in this stardew valley inspired bundle. there are 120 different icon options, such as veggies, fruit, fish, animals and animal produce, tools, and special items from the game stardew valley

a display of the widgets available in this stardew valley inspired icon and wallpaper bundle. the widgets are as follows; a green chikcne coop with a wooden roof, a wooden farm house with a red roof neighboured by two green trees, a goodmorning, good afternoon, good evening and good night sign, a stone well with a wooden awning, a wide red barn, a green house and a repeat of the farmhouse, this time without the trees.

since this will always be circulating, i might as well be the first one to put it here: the stretch tips i made many years ago… remember to stop and stretch and take care of your hands! be mindful of your work time & listen to your body.

a bunch of drawn diagrams of hand stretches. the text at the top reads MAKE TIME TO STRETCH!

it shows wrist extensions and flexions, with the arm straight out and hand palm out with the hand gently stretched up and down. the same stretches with the hand in a fist. the same stretch but with the palm against a wall. a stretch of pressing your palms together with wrists parallel to the ground and slowly lowering the heels of the palms. and a gentle shaking out of the hands.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Remember those who have been killed, injured, abused, tortured for being who they are. Remember those who have taken their own lives because they could not live in a world where they could not be themselves. Remember them. And make the world remember them.

Light blue, pink, and white candles on a black background, arranged in the order of the Transgender Pride flag. Beneath, the text "TRANSGENDER DAY OF REMEMBRANCE NOVEMBER 20" is displayed.
