for those who haven't heard: serum 2 is free if you legitimately own serum 1. it's fully backwards-compatible with serum 1 presets, and there's even a global checkbox for it in the global tab.

did a quick test with the template i built over the past few days—seems to be working well! definitely want to strengthen my orchestral chops, both in mixing and arranging, but i'm really liking this workflow already. Cubase is absolutely goated!! 😤👌

real talk though, i really like the articulation/expression/dynamics mapping features in Cubase! super excited about the potential sheet music this can create and the way the workflow feels way less confusing than what i was doing in FL

spent all morning setting up the perfect orchestral template in Cubase. started a project, immediately found a mistake just to find another shortly after. repeat x20. at this point, the real composition is just me updating the template 😂👌👌💀🔥
