Yes yes yes I used pouch with a couchdb backend (some cloud service owned by IBM IIRC, now dead). Perfect combo, ran on everything that you could connect to the internet.

Pouch was amazing! I remember when in 2013-14 I build an app with phonegap and run OTA updates on iOS using realtime sync (dbs with attachments) + a bit of rx.js sprinkled on top. It was so fast that I could see the changes in the app as I was typing in futon. It felt like magic!

First 1½ bug fixes just arrived: 1) dead-key input works fine now (I was too clever with preventing the user from selecting/editing text) This has been the most common error report I've seen on TestFlight so far.

OK, we have 300(!) new sigma testers so far, and a ton of feedback, mainly regarding internationalisation (dead key input in Brazilian vs. Portuguese, then pinyin and Japanese). (I usually test it Ensō with: EN, PL, AR, FA, PT) This is going to be a fun rabbit hole #indiedev #a11y

So far: - I had to 4x the test group size as all slots got booked quickly - received a ton of (largely useful) feedback from users - the post wasn't mean to be a pitch of Ensō so many people came there without context -- luckily the mods stepped in and updated the description when I was busy
