( his manner was quiet and gentle. . not something he was used to at all. cinnamon flecked eyes close so he can savor the kiss and to mull over the question ) it is kinda weird. . . s'probably weirder that i like it. . ( his lips tug softly just as his chest blooms with warmth )

000

( he chews on his lip while he looks up at him, enjoying the view, his gaze almost hypnotic. . ace couldn't tear himself away from it. his hands reach for law's neck, fingers clasping at the back of it to draw him closer. knees on either side of his waist to keep him close, ace just lifts +

( eyes nearly bulging out of his sockets, but a genuine grin widens across his face ) somebody really wants that rent~ ( he says it through a blush on his face, even if he is definitely hiding it over law's shoulder )

( the look on his face is a mixture of horror and the sheer excitement of a kid at a magic show ) w h o a-- oh my G O D what the fUCK ( were there any promises about being quiet, that he wouldn't even know he was here? all forgotten of course, as sticky paws silently reach out towards the +

His eyes dance with a certain mirth. It isn't entirely truthful, that look. A thin veil that protects him from his real thoughts, about intimacy, about human connection and his inability to keep up with it. "Yeah-- you should try it some time, see for yourself", said almost as easily, +

now ain't that nice ( grinning slightly under the brim of his hat )

000

( he's very curious, since he's only heard about his powers and never seen them in person. and he's the last thing from squeamish ) ( brown eyes fix on his middle even as the air about them takes a blue sheen )

000

( eyes widening before he smiles at him, hands out and pressed to his shoulders ) o k ay okay, hold up-- i ain't dyin on you! i do very low risk things lately, like eatin and gettin fat ( squinting and raising a brow at him ) you gotta let me have this, im lookin atcha right now, you look +

000

000

( putting his hands promptly behind his back as he smiles ) you got it-- i'll be quiet as a mouse, you won't even know i'm here!

000

i'll just leave ya to brood and do your doctor things then toodles!

020

000

you're also really beautiful traff, is that what you wanna hear

problem with being a cutie patootie? cause that's what you are 😌

000

( he whispers back ) i like the way you're holdin me ( his arms hug up over his back, chin on his shoulder. he'd only hugged another man like this before. )

000

( his face warms considerably when he holds it like that, dark eyes holding his gaze as if powerless to look away. he usually liked to tease men, that was his way of flirting ) ( but he didn't feel like it now, just basking in the attention, smiling away like a right idiot. soon though, he +

i think if there was one really good thing about me. im a loyal dog, nobody messes with my friends and family

020

Heh, yeah I bet he ain't. . Now that I think about it, I wasn't a yapper before either, that's sorta new, since the Spade Pirates I reckon ( Smiling some more now and sighing, then scratching the back of his neck ) Aw man, I used to wanna grow up and marry her. So embarrassing to think about +

100

makino san's lil baby looks so cute, got her hair 🥰

i think i still get angrier than sabo, but man you do not wanna piss him off either

( the giggle that escapes him then is followed by a silly look of pride ) well i took the time to learn my manners from makino san-- she was the prettiest, sweetest lady in the town right next to our jungle. . she owned a bar and had to deal with all these assholes +

( at that he stops a bit, his eyes widened and brows raised. soon though, he chuckles ) i ain't that good. i just got lucky that luffy decided to be my brother. . ( but the brief moment flickers out of his brown eyes as soon as it comes, a lighter tone filling his words ) but heck yeah i did! +

( he couldn't really understand, and usually he didn't need to. he wasn't meant for the sweeter things in life, he was built like a rock, from fire and dirt. but it was nice sometimes, to pretend, to feel a sliver of what could be ) ( ace smiles a little, giving him a kiss in return, before +

100

( he could tell then, that he's felt it too. the cold gnawing grip of starvation, what it can do to a person ) ( and so he whispers ) yeah. . what you do by choice, makes you a really good guy. . good in your heart. i really like that, about ya. i mean-- i trust ya, yknow? +

( he pulls back a bit to look at him rather seriously, their noses just a few inches apart. dark eyes stare into blues, incredulous ) there's all kinds of monsters in the world. . who wouldn't spare a poor man some trampled bread. . who'd rather feed it to their fancy dogs. . i've eaten from +

( the joy shows on his face. touch was his first love language, the very first way he ever learnt to show affection. when he pulls his arms around sanji it's easy and without hesitation, his cheek smushing into his face ) ( after a short pause he mumbles ) i wantchu to feel better. . +

( his thumb glides across sanji's cheek for a moment, before he slowly pulls away ) . . . . if a hug sounds better than that i'm here to give it to ya, if you want o course ( his face pinkens a bit, both hands clasped behind his back to keep from straight up squeezing the man's face in his +

( he chuckles softly at the reaction he gets before reaching for his arm. his palm slides up to his shoulder, then to his neck, just framing his face with his fingers ) . . is that better ?

000

( he grins a little, glad his silliness paid off. a phantom tail wags when he looks at him now ) alright! where do you want me to touch you--

( the corner of his lips lifts a bit before he returns a soft kiss back ) i just wanted to feel what that's like. . ( his hand brushes against the other's waist, though he doesn't meet his eyes for the moment ) not usually so wishy washy either, sorry--

000

( it was incredible, how good it felt to be kissed and touched and held like this. he knew it didn't mean squat to him otherwise. he'd done a lot of kissing and touching, and it was always nice. but this. . ) ( his heart was flying, bumping against bones and things, floating carelessly inside +
