Dear 2.6k Bluesky Followers...here is my PINNED POST. THREAD COUNT: 3+

Dear 2.6k Bluesky Followers,

I am writing to you because I have grown disappointed in the platform. I originally came here to post artwork and fiction stories, and do art commissions on a platform not owned by Musk; at the time I had become fed up with Tumblr. I like the sophisticated blocking system of Bluesky, but apparently it exists as a symptom of a problem: polarization.

I am not a Republican, but I used to be a Democrat: I gave the DEM party six or seven years of patience. I voted for Harris, did all I could to avoid the "right-wing news media," (up to the point of almost abandoning US news publications!) never used Truth Social, etc., etc., read some historical library books when I could afford a library card, and after one year of political mayhem, (2025) and seeing no major positive change in the party, I became Independent. Then I realized that people are really unwilling to become educated, and subsequently cause problems, and that the people who become educated sometimes–sometimes–become brainwashed.

That hurts to write. I love the idea of higher education, I respect professors, teachers, and librarians, but things are less than ideal in this country.

I have noticed that the tech billionaires will continue to grow richer, especially when the AI bubble bursts. I have noticed that too few people are paying sufficient attention to the environment: they do not understand what climate chaos means geopolitically. They think they can keep protesting, calling, writing about what they usually do, but they have no backup plan. No bunker. Unless it's a secret, which would make sense.

What does climate chaos really mean? Drought, famine, wildfires and floods, hurricanes, epidemics and pandemics, crimes of violence, crimes of desperation, and the violation of all taboos. Elderly and older, young and younger, and female people who suffer. Wars. It will make all of us with a shred of human decency sincerely sick. [Continued]

The front (obverse) of this coin depicts the head of goddess Persephone (Kara) facing right with a corn wreath; a pendant earring and the inscription KOPΑΣ at Ieft (very worn). There is a dotted border. The back (reverse) depicts the goddess Nike, draped from waist down, her wings spread behind; she raises her head and left arm to place a veil on a trophy (post with armor breastplate, helmet, and shield with greaves below). She holds a hammer downwards in her lowered right hand.
