Ever Crisis ends tomorrow. Now that it's ending it does feel pretty sad, but, some questionable decisions aside, it definitely kept me looped in and interested in the FFVII IP. I'm now just trying to spend all my gil and crystals and wrap stuff up one last time.

Still my prevailing theory, that this is another planetary cycle, and that OG Aerith is the one who imparts Remake Aerith with all the future memories she has. The Compilation world is where Cloud's Hollow feeling begins, and it won't be resolved until Aerith is saved and Holy is properly released.

I personally feel like the final final ending, the one that Hamaguchi references, has already been spoiled. Cloud's always yearning to go to The Promised Land, to meet Aerith. We're always seeing glimpses of what that looks like. (1/3)

This was pointed out by others, but Tifa's cleavage always gets covered up now, whereas Aerith will has more shape-defining clothes, cleavage, or straight-up lingerie like Kainé's outfit. Why that is is anyone's guess, but it's a recent change in Ever Crisis.

There's so many conclusions being drawn from this one scene. 😐 I think it's telling that the trailer has included a scene between them so early. Maybe the only conclusion I can draw is that they reunite early in the game.

I pre-ordered Final Fantasy VII Revelation! Aerith and Cloud's renders look great, as do all the rest of the party. It's a really nice touch that Revelation rendered the Nomura-drawn portraits from the OG. 🥹

The Survive the Prophet video really reinforced Hollow's ties to Aerith. The teaser intentionally focused on Aerith's church. The white materia fitting into the slot in Cloud's Buster Sword. The Lifestream particles and call back to Aerith offering Cloud a date. It's a LOT. Thread below! #FF7

The theory that Advent Children Cloud, hollow and empty, wishing for a chance to save Aerith just got a MAJOR boost. I've said from the beginning, I think Cloud's desire to save Aerith is the catalyst for this entire Remake series.

#Clerith fans, please answer: So this is probably a coincidence, but someone pointed out it's 9 months til FF7 Revelation releases. It releases "Spring 2027." Spring is associated with new life. I'm a big believer in Aerith having a chlid, but... that's CRAZY if this was intentional.

Still shadow banned on X so I'll put my thoughts here. 1. Reuniting with Aerith, fulfilling Aerith's wish to find Cloud, and Cloud to find her = I think this is the #1 crux pivotal goal of Remake. 2. Does this mean the clerith artists I miss will come back? Krudears, Halutica, and others?

The end of Advent Chidlren isn't a bad ending in the context of Advent Children, but Advent Children IS a bad ending in the context of FF7. - Hundreds, possibly thousands, of people die of Geostigma - Denzel's parents die - And a LOT of children die It's a survival story, not a happy one. #FF7

I don't think #FF7 Remake is a sequel in the traditional sense. Yogachara Buddhism and Jung's Theory of Collective Consciousness squash that idea. I personally believe Cloud's unfulfilled desire to save Aerith and permanently erase the trauma of Sephiroth... is the root of this entire series.

The Ever Crisis 2.5 Anniversary event was more Aerith-focused, but Tifa gets a new outfit as well. My take? This event was to make up for the fact that Aerith won't be in any more story updates. FF7 story updates are now continuing on with Disc 2 content.

Part of the reason why I deactivated from Twitter was I was tired of feeling secondhand embarassment. Posting clerith or cloti under Nojima's posts, taking what the VAs say or do and twisting it. I don't want any part of it. Being in that bubble sometimes makes you lose your common sense.

No one is more aware than the development team that Aerith/Zack fans are also Cloud/Tifa fans (same people), and that "Team Aerith" fans are pretty much Cloud/Aerith fans. They already know. So if you ship #clerith don't worry.
