I was waiting to get paid some more so I can watch this next weekend and I genuinely think I’ll be like one of the only ones to see it next weekend at all

Genuinely chilling and tense stuff here. The Nightcrawler vibes were definitely there. Excellent and fascinating movie, Pattinson was amazing of course but honestly Merritt Weaver and Skyler Gisondo kinda run away with the whole thing, outstanding work.

Look I love Jane Levy and Stephen Lang and all but the second movie was kinda bad and they made the guy a hero for some reason even with the extremely terrible things he did in the first one, I’m good actually

Really really liked it, sometimes a bittt too hyperactive for me but it’s really strong all around even with that, eye-popping animation, some funny stuff throughout, enjoyable characters, the emotional core and heart here was the best part for sure, really strong

I have to say it, he is extremely me-coded, this is literally just me if I was thrown into the movie, I’d be talking to myself like mad and cursing at every single thing and stumbling around like a doofus and screaming frantically and clumsily quipping to no one but myself

In My Little Pony terms, the new Resident Evil movie is sort of like, what if a random background earth pony you know nothing about with no survival experience, no magic, and no flight, was thrown into the zombie apocalypse, and it rulessss

Charming! Endearing! Cute! Funny! Likable! Expertly animated! Exactly what you would expect and that is a great thing here

Doing the important double feature tomorrow of the new Shaun the Sheep and Resident Evil, both horror adjacent movies, and totally very similar of course.

Even taking out how terrible this poster is the whole movie just seems very ehhhh, cast is solid but there’s nothing majorly pulling me in otherwise, everything just screams mid-ness is on the way

Crazy how the entire marketing campaign for their shit movie is “Haha woke bad am I right?” Is that really all they’ve got? (Rhetorical question, obviously that is all they’ve got)
