When the past comes back to guide you by the hand, grab tight. The littlest lala grabbed hold of her own hand and pulled her past self close to get thru the storm.

Was super excited about a new stream overlay package. There was an entire "I don't use AI" statement in their disclosure.... but when the image was run through a AI image detector??? 97% AI positive. So make sure you double check because obviously Etsy isn't bothering to.

Third spaces are so important. Places where people can hang out like libraries and maker spaces matter. They create a sense of community and may be the biggest social outlet some people have. Support your local third spaces!!

A small lalafell dances in the night of Old Sharlyan with the text : And the littlest lala found joy in the solitude of the night. She found peace and happiness of the night. And she danced to the sounds and colors of the night

The feeling of moving on when you really weren't ready to...but the sense of relief that it's also finally over....

The world seems very dull lately. And while I'm actively working on getting out of my slump I want to thank the people that show up anyways. The ones who pop into my short streams, the ones who check on me, the ones who sit with me in silence. You do more than you realize.

On a short trip to Michigan, but my entire brain is exhausted and drained. I'm trying to be the best me for myself. But honestly it's hard and exhausting. People see me up in the middle of the night...but the truth is that the dark bothers me right now. Sleeping when the sun is up just feels safer.

Someone asked me a few days ago why my lala no longer wears her trademark pigtails and I had to think about how to explain it. Because for 3 years that was her primary hairstyle. And to be honest it's because I've changed. I've started setting boundaries and being firm with them. 1/?

So usually on May 28th we do a charity stream in honor of my soul kitty Spice who passed away May 28th, 2012. This year I'll be going out of town for almost a month the day after. So here's my idea. Give me the pictures and a quick story of all your animals. 1/?

When they announced cross-dc duty finder/pf I was super excited. You see I'm on Dynamis and have always had to travel to do things with my friends or have alts. So the knowledge that I won't be dc-hopping just to do roulettes and pf with people...EXCITEMENT. So I started cleaning house... 1/?

As I replay MSQ in FFXIV I realize why Alisae has always been my favorite of the twins. She sees that the WOL needs their friends and that teamwork can lessen the weight of what the WOL carries. And over and over we see her fighting the same fight we are...the fight to defend her friends 1/?

Schools and parents...when you take your kids to zoos and aquariums make sure you teach your children to not pound on windows or screech like banshees. It can disturb animals and that is their home. Don't be like the school groups I saw at Shedd Aquarium today. Don't ruin the experience for others.

Here's how you remove Google AI from your mobile devices.

amongussexgif

...

Instead of being in settings its in the google app. Also, google, not chrome. Icon is a G, not the circle thing. Click on your pfp to open a menu

From there, go Settings > Gemini > Digital Assistants > Switch to Google Assistant. This disables Gemini, google's Al assistant, and switches you back to the old one. We aren't done yet.

Go back to Settings. From there, we go Settings > Google Assistant > scroll to find General > Google Assitant on/off > turn it off

They really tried their best to make it a pain, but you can eventually disable it. Holding the power button on your phone still pulls up a menu and asks you to turn it back on, but this is the least intrusive you can make it.

Applies to all non-apple phones afaik. For sure Samsungs and Pixels but idrk about others

Edit: thank you my friend @/teeth-kid for confirming that this also works on Motorola

I am realizing I'm approaching burnout. So I'm stepping away for a couple of days to reset. For anyone else who's approaching this point...take care of you. Step away from everything if you need to. Love you all and see you soon.
