Most of the people they fired were union organizers. Wikipedia’s editors are now threatening to strike […]

LRT I'm interested in the Holos social project since it apparently can run fediverse on your phone. I ended up going with Hollo instead but I'm curious to see how it turns out.

I chose to go with #Hollo over other choices because it fulfilled my needs: 1. I wanted high compatibility with the mastodon API since many of my blogs use mastodon as a comments engine. 2. It was built for single-user instances (should be relatively lightweight) but also allows multiple […]

I made a very silly update to my microblog. I added a follows/followers section! This is different from my "friends" page since this is supposed to mimic masto/bsky/tumblr/etc and is specific to microblogs. If you're reading this and you are subscribed to the […] [Original post on sakurajima.moe]

I don't remember posting this one on here--so it'll either be a repost for some of you or a new post! I was just thinking of this one today. It was me wondering about furry versions of Astemar, Max and Magnusm and trying my hand at that. I think it's very […] [Original post on mementomori.social]

I've started using RSS properly now. Before, I would use RSS Parrot to read certain blog feeds on Mastodon, but it was very limited functionality. Now I'm setup with both a phone app and a desktop browser extension, and will be searching for creators to follow.

A kitty Astemar, tucked in Max's bicycle basket. She looks like she's having fun!

Dog Astemar, who's angrily sniffing a white powder in front of Max. Is it sugar? Cocaine? Flour? Cocaine? Milk powder? Anthrax? WHITE DEVIL'S LETTUCE????

Piggy Astemar, being held under Astemar's arm. She looks happy! Boop her snout, as God intended.

I finished watching the 2nd season of the One Piece Live Action yesterday, and it's been a fun watch, but I really wonder how far they'll get in this adaptation. Apparently they're aiming for the time skip as the stopping point but at the pace of 1 season every 2 years, it'll be a LONG while […]

I've been using Capy Reader as my RSS reader for my phone recently, and I love the fact that it doesn't require you to make an account! You could just add feeds locally! Maybe this might be a bad idea when you lose your feeds list but... it's so refreshing to have something that just works.

I wonder when JP publishers decide on 1 volume vs 2 or more? They seem to have no trouble splitting books up into parts and just publishing them at the same time (see Agents of Four Seasons), but sometimes they stick to only 1 volume despite how long it is (like Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere)

a photo of a volume of a 3 inches thick light novel with a caption above saying "Who tells me that light novels are light again I'll hit him in the face with this". It's in the Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere series.

The only LN from J-novel club that I've seen that long is Trials and Tribulations of My Next Life as Noblewoman, which was so huge they had to start splitting it up into parts.
