Illustration of Viktor the Machine Herald from League of Legends. He stands aloft in the walkways deep in the Sump of Zaun, looking down. He stands with grace and intimidation, grabbing the railing with his robot arm. He is lit with the neons of Zaun and surrounded by steam and The Grey. Behind him, his shadow looms, larger and darker, its eyes aglow, a predator.

magical nights at the lab 🧬✨ #jayvik #arcane #fanart #jaycetalis #viktor

Arcane fanart illustration of Jayvik’s silhouettes shadow on a blackboard, the lab is mostly in darkness, there’s a dim blue light bathing eveything. Some of Jayce’s clothes are laying around on the desk. There’s also a sandwich and signs that they’ve been working, like an open book where his red tie is now resting. Through their shadows, we see Viktor is pulling Jayce in from his pants. His crutch must be leaning on some table as it’s standing behind. Jayce is holding Viktor’s chin with one hand and Viktor’s free hand, that is resting on his chest, with the other. The artwork is mostly in blue hues, drawn in a sort of cartoon comic-y style with thick black lineart, halftones and noise with an emphasis on light/shadow to showcase the shapes of objects, and added sparkles for the magic.

After all that I’ve done… #Arcane

A portrait of Viktor and Machine Herald from Arcane in an almost shattered mirror like position where you only see half of Viktor and half the Herald. There are bright colors of space in the background as well as silhouettes of Viktor and Jayce

i wasn't even saying that i hc vik as russian. i simply stated that his og accent is as a fact because it is no matter how hard you try to reject it and i still got attacked for that

yellow tie @pommierrot.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

not to mention abbey in g1 mh had russian accent even tho she's not slavic at all. just bc she's like cold-hearted and comes from snowy land(common stereotypes about russians)

yellow tie @pommierrot.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

mh draculaura voice actress mentioned in one video that she uses "russian transylvanian" accent for draculaura. i have no idea what russian transylvanian is but i know draculaura is romanian and not russian. and it was a common thing back then. so i'm 100% sure og viktor's accent is russian

yellow tie @pommierrot.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

viktor was created in 2011. the times of wild application of stereotypes to different cultures in media. so many slavic characters had russian accent back then just bc yk it's easier to do it than to do some research.

120

yellow tie @pommierrot.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

i'll put aside that i know how these accents sound probably better than they do and the fact that og viktor is a communist caricature and focus on voice acting history (kinda)

yellow tie @pommierrot.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

god forbid i said viktor's accent was russian on tiktok. multiple ppl replied "do you know how russian and slavic accents sound? russian ≠ slavic hope it helps" in this exact wording. they tried so hard to prove og viktor's accent is just generic slavic. im so tired of that bc it clearly is russian.
