In recent years the indie otome games space has grown to considerably! Not a day goes by that I don't see a new game announcement or release on my feeds. Not only that but, the quality of indie otome games have even surpassed their mainstream counterparts--especially in the types of diverse stories being created. While many indie games are available on platforms like Steam, itch.io remains the hub for indie titles, thanks in part to the numerous game jams hosted there.
