Akropolis Athena from Gigamic and @hachettebguk.bsky.social is a must-have expansion. The additional single-hex tiles, along with the achievement system for earning them, make it a simple but brilliant addition to an already amazing game.

Feyas Swamp from Fractal Juegos was reviewed back in Episode 192, and we bloody loved it: great presentation, great gameplay, great interaction, and best of all, a great price point. Two thumbs up from all of us who played it. This copy of the game was provided by our show sponsor, etoysworld

Trials of Maya is on Gamefound now, and we thought it was rather good, with its clever card plays, interesting asymmetry, mobs, and base attacking. Trials of Maya is going to appeal to those who really love to get stuck in deep in the game and understand its nuances.

Nippon Zaibatsu from CrowD Games is a bloody wonderful game, with a clever worker removal system that ticks down through the eras of the game, and a great area control system as you try to produce products in your factories (Zaibatsus) to fulfil the needs of the nation and rival the pesky West.

Tag Team from @scorpionmasque.bsky.social and @hachettebguk.bsky.social I have had a lot of fun playing this deck-smashing beat 'em up style game. It's essentially a fast-paced base-buster, and in many ways it's similar to that classic title, Smash Up, but this game is much more streamlined.

Rebirth @mightyboards.bsky.social I recently got this bloody brilliant game back to the table after a little break, and it was so much fun! A really simple, yet very effective area control game, and although it may not feel like you have much agency, the choices become very important very quickly

Drillers from CGE is a simple game of resource collection and deck management. As the name suggests, you'll be drilling down, exposing crystals to collect. This is all done by playing cards which allow you to drill, and move.

Prague Unseen from Albi at UK Games Expo So, there isn't a lot of information about this game, but phrases like: "mythical Prague back in the 19th century" "euro-style worker placement" "four distinct “mini-games” "gain unique abilities." Yeah, well, that will do it.

Almighty from @keenbeanstudio I honestly love the sound of this game. Thematically, this is a tongue-in-cheek view of Gods at war for belief from us mere mortals. So of course, right off the bat, we can expect not only asymmetric god powers, but fun, satirical art and flavour in every component.
