To explain the idea a bit more: I had all these prototypes and trades laying around and thought... What if Eorzea had these package resellers like we have that sell Amazon returns and stuff. So why not make it a raffle of old postage! that's why there's also postcards from wols and stamps :D

Parts are done printing and already have some layers of primer on them! Also I aquired a trolley to carry around the machine and prizes with me (let's hope they let me into Fanfest with it haha) next up: putting on the white and gold coloring and putting in the electronics! 🎃🤩

New Prototype! With 7.5 I realized how big this crystal actually is when in Y'shtola's hands and not my roe's haha. Over-engineered it a bit, with magnetic connectors, didn't want to bend wires every time I replace the battery. Needs some extra lights tho before calling this finished. #ffxiv #ff14

Funniest thing though. While they pulled, searched and tipped stuff even damaging some prints...when they excited they used my painting table on the balcony as a stepstool, I had some drying vessels on there and instead of throwing them out the way they gently placed them into an old flowerbasket???

So I decided to let the Regulator come back. I worked really hard on re-designing this only for myself but since I think it is such a cool upgrade I'm making it a viable in my shop for a limited time again. It's smaller but also lighter, easier to print yourself and no more funky wires. 🎃

Here's a clip with a very weak magnet it turned out to be impossible to switch on the bigger version from the outside. All in all I'm very happy with the new size and the light visibility is so much better. This is light shade on a very sunny day.

So I had to downscale my Luminaconverters by roughly 20%. But now they reliably switch on and off from the outside even with weaker magnets. Also the light is way more visible since the chip inside hasn't changed and I think it is way more of a "Keychainsize"?
