Mom M’s garden might be small but it’s blooming! They’re all plants native to our area and the pollinators love them!

Hanging out at Grandpa’s while Mom D helps him fix a door. I refuse to share a water bowl with Lewes cause he’s gross so I have my own bowl!

It’s the end of an era, friends! Mom M left her job and her new job doesn’t allow dogs in the field. While I may have to retire early from my professional role I’ll certainly still be a freelance volunteer Bark Ranger!

I would be remiss as a Bark Ranger to go to TN and not talk about Kudzu! An invasive plant dubbed “the vine that devoured the south” covers the landscape, choking out native ground cover and taking down trees. It was introduced purposely to control erosion and is now out of control in 32 states.

There are only 2 trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that allow dogs so we did one today! We walked the Gatlinburg trail along the Pigeon River and then moms got me a new water bowl at the visitors center!

The humans went white water rafting today so I stayed back and held up the fort! Someone has to keep an eye on that owl and the bears!
