According to some official guidebooks, this was apparently how the pretenders were born. #Transformers

Section from TFWiki's page on Pretenders, containing behind the scenes info cribbled from the TF Generations guidebooks from Japan.

-low self-esteem -poor concentration skills -often tries to cover up said low self-esteem -scared of committing to stuff ... Of all the #Transformers I'd use to describe myself, IDW Swerve wasn't exactly on my mind, and yet...these traits describe both of us very well

Pokémon: Pick an animal, then give it a fantastical feature. Its a design formula thats been in use since the beginning (for instance, poliwag, my pfp, is a tadpole with the visible innards as its fantastical feature), and still sees use today (See: Palafins secret identity gimmick)

In hindsight, I feel that #Ben10 episode where Ben used Echo Echo to be in 3 differemt places at once feels kimd of relatable now. Like there have been so many imstances I wish I could split myself into copies to keep everyone and myself happy.

Random thought: The inner working of #Ben10 's Alien X and Computron from #Transformers is kind of how my brain works. It kind of combines the former's deliberation and the latter's "take all inputs, analyze then act" idea.

The inside of Alien X, witj Bellicus (aggression), Serena (compassion) and Ben (reason)
