With 2,000 troops onboard it was planned she would be beached and allow for a quick deployment. Defenders kept heavy fire on her throughout the day causing many casualties of those who tried to disembark. #ww1 #gallipoli #warhistory #history 1115

The use of predicted artillery fire on a massive scale is not given as much credit. 000
