iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

It really was like that. Completely baffling and I wasn’t sure at first why i reacted so strongly to this sequence

010

I think at this moment is when the game lost me. And not like in a “I’m not sure I like this” way, in the “what the fuck is this, do they really believe this is good?” Kind of way. Anyway KH3 was hot garbo and I have no idea what to think of KH4

2120

It’s not just that they put the entire song and sequence of Let it Go into the game, or that it cute interstitial to Sora, Donald and Goofy gawking from a distance, or that it so clearly smacked of Disney corporate claws buried deep in this whole level. It’s utterly bewildering. Not in a good way.

Kingdom Hearts 3: Frozen "Let It Go" Musical Number

I was just reminded of this part of Kingdom Hearts 3 and how actually utterly bewildered it made me feel. I couldn’t process what was happening and I was like laughing and angry at the same time? youtu.be/S26MxjItmi0?...

Oh snap I just remembered I had a dream last night where I didn’t have my wallet and I was like “oh no, I left it in my bag and it’s in the other room and I’ll have to wake up to go get it because this is a dream.” Course immediately after realizing that I woke up. Never can keep it going.

I don't have answers or words to soothe any troubled minds tonight. But I do have this cursed photo I took at the dayjob.

Oh how i do be relocating so much coral

021

This was all inspired by the whiny babies that loudly complain that there is too much to do in Pokopia and suggest that “the devs should focus” rather than realizing that it might be them struggling with their own focus?

1110

I guess as an example, I’m reading Providence right now. Having a very hard time with it because of a font that I am having trouble reading with my old bad eyes. That doesn’t make it bad as a story or bad as an art piece. It just makes it annoying for ME.

190

I’ve grown into quite the opponent of online videogame criticism and discourse because it honestly feels like all of them can’t look at something as an art piece and separate it from their personal struggles with it.

All the shade to the people who take to the internet to say how much they’re struggling with a game as if it’s some kind of flaw in the game and not in themselves Like dude I get it, you’re bad at deciding what to do in Pokopia, that doesn’t make the game bad, that makes you indecisive.

No it wasn’t. There were a few scenes where cgi was used but not the one I am referencing. It was actually a different dog. I looked it up-Buzz and Brisket were the two dogs and one was used because the other one couldn’t do water scenes.
