iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I feel like there was still a lot the show could’ve done with their characters & storylines, rather than wrapping them up in a rush so we could move onto the timeskip. I wonder what Horizons would look like now if that was the case!

I kinda miss when these three were the main focus of Pokémon Horizons 🥲

Imagine the peak of Misty bringing Horsea to Johto and evolving it up to a Kingdra 😭

250

Tbh Chronicles mostly just feels like an extension/spinoff of OS so I kinda consider them the same thing haha, but yeah you’re right!

Still can't believe Misty's Horsea never appeared again after the Original Series 💔

i’m sorry but these are hideous raichu deserved so much better bruh

550

thinking about how i somehow came up with the utterly absurd idea to build a bond between THESE TWO back in 2020, and now it’s grown to be one of my favourite parts of my entire AU lol

180

i lovedddd that oshawott was in this episode too

000

glalie got sent into orbit 😭

000

i genuinely don’t think the anime has ever managed to hit me as hard as XY’s farewells did, ever since. it was just so much and so peak 😭

180

Will never have the words to describe how much they mean to me 💚

1257

in hindsight it really bothers me that the whole of the battle frontier arc was set in kanto, and yet we saw almost zero returning characters from ash’s kanto journey… it would’ve been SUCH a perfect opportunity to bring back gym leaders, one-off filler characters, etc!

i lovedddd the sabrina or nessa debates at that time, i wish it couldve been one of them!

kanto gym leaders returning in pokemon journeys... #FerlaxTellonym

Liko’s team definitely has it when the writers occasionally remember that they have it… but unfortunately they seem to forget way too often 😭 And as for Roy, I loved Fuecoco & Wattrel’s bond in early Horizons but then it vanished entirely ever since 💔

160

Dot's Pokemon team genuinely feels like a family... they have such great chemistry, bonds, interactions... it's crazy to me that they're leagues above Liko & Roy's teams in that way!

2233

so lucky & blessed to have such an incredible legal team on my side <3

150

that sounds like a perfect environment to me! 🤠 and yes hahaha it’s the most monstrous amalgamation of vulpix & rowlet of all time i love it

020

who needs my friend malamar when we literally have my friend inkay ???

1151

PLEASE STEAM PLEASE ESHOP PLEASE FIX YOURSELF SO I CAN PLAY SILKSONG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

130

you’re gonna smash it !!! 🔥

yessss you’re so real for this !!!!

ikrrrr it was so peak. it's definitely up there for me too. it was dynamic, lively, it had great battle choreography and animation, and GENUINELY great strategies and ash moments... i remember being so hopeful for the battles to come in the future of JN after this one lol

120

surge & raichu's reaction to ash & pika being the very best like no one ever was would've been sooooo peak

100

same, even if it wasn't a battle it still would've been so dope for surge & raichu to see just how far ash & pika have come since kanto !!!!!

trueee or koga could've been a good shout too since his daughter could've taken over his gym

at least they gave us one of the best JN battles of all in lt. surge's place :D

190

still crazy to me how pokemon journeys teased us with a future lt. surge return but then never actually followed through with it </3

4200

infernape in top 3 is so based

ahhhh that's cool i definitely think ill try be more active here then because i am a yapper and i miss yapping but it's just not healthy or enjoyable doing it on twitter anymore !!!!!

130

honestly that sounds great to me tbh, i just want somewhere i can post my thoughts and have fun friendly discussions with other friendly people , without randomers acting like i'm hopping in a car and running over their entire family just becuz i *gasp* have an opinion

020

i do have a few issues with how JN handled lucario overall BUT i can't deny its power, as soon as it one-shotted the GMAX'd ace of one of the strongest trainers in the world (raihan) then it was clear as day that lucario was up there in ash's top 3 looool

000

it's been such a long time coming i cant fathom it how did i go from 17 years old to 25 years old waiting for a sequel !!!!!!!!

if u told 17 year old me playing hollow knight during my free periods at college in 2017 that id be 25 years old when the sequel releases theres no way i wouldve believed it..... but here we are!

030

I CANNOT BELIEVE SILKSONG RELEASES TOMORROW EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

ahhhh a block system that ACTUALLY blocks people, how ive missed this.....

030

haha it seems a lot of the folks replying have had similar experiences to you on here so hopefully i find things to be the same way !!!! :)

130

haha yeah to be honest the post above wasn't my finest wording, bc i definitely don't want yes men - i enjoy discussions as long as it's civil & friendly :D also i agree clemont & serena's lack of interactions and ash & bonnie's lack of meaningful bond are the lowest points of the group for me too!
